Overview

Cintra's migration and modernisation service for Oracle workloads are delivered as part of the AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP). Cintra's migrate services typically follow the MAP Mobilization service which establishes the cloud foundation, the target environments, migration runbooks operational and security frameworks and the actual migration of non-production environments to AWS.

In MAP Migrate Cintra will complete the migration of the production environments using Cintra's best practice migration runbooks which include a focus on risk mitigation to ensure your Oracle workloads are migrated with minimal risk and downtime. Our Oracle cloud migration specialists utilize proven methodologies and advanced technologies to ensure a seamless migration process to provide a smooth and successful migration. Prior to migration Cintra will establish performance and operational service level KPIs to ensure that the migrated production environment is meeting or exceeding on-premises KPIs. The migration best practices will reflect rollback strategies to provide an option to fallback to On-Premises in case of unexpected application or DB issues, these rollback strategies will be reflected in the migration workbooks,

Cintra’s specailist Oracle migration teams will:

  • Perform production readiness activities to ensure that the Oracle workload is ready to be deployed into a production environment.
  • Establish performance and operational service level KPIs to ensure the migrated solution is meeting or exceeding the OnPremises KPIs.
  • Migrate each production Oracle Workload according to the validated best practice migration runbooks.
  • Incorporate rollback strategies within migration runbooks to mitigate migration risk at go live.
  • Secure your production Oracle workload by the implementation of back up and disaster recovery policies and solutions.
  • Activate hypercare support immediately following the system Go Live providing an elevated level of support in initial period of operation.
  • Transition the migrated workload to Cintra’s Managed Services team or your own chosen managed services provider.
