In this 60-minute consultation, our Solutions Architects will collaborate with your team to:

Understand Your Current Environment: Discuss your current VMware-based workloads, infrastructure, and software licenses.

Discuss Total Cost of Ownership (TCO): Understand the design principles for an AWS infrastructure (including application and OS licensing) that meets your desired cost target.

Identify Blockers and Risks: Examine blockers to migration readiness and potential risks during and after a migration along with how best to de-risk these elements.

Determine Stakeholder Access: To ensure a smooth transition, learn how to maintain operational continuity during and after a migration and devise a migration strategy that minimizes disruption.

Find Funding Opportunities: Assess what AWS programs are available to fund your migration—there may be more than one!—and how best to leverage that funding both for an initial migration plan and its execution.

As part of every migration, we plan carefully to ensure:

• You can see your projected costs and operational savings associated with the new infrastructure ahead of a migration
• Your teams and customers can continue to work with the existing applications with little-to-no-disruption during the migration
• Your new AWS environment is securely set up, including all necessary configuration, policy design, as well as governance practices and associated services like Control Tower and AWS Organizations
• Your workloads are functioning seamlessly and as expected after a thorough QA and handoff process
• You are trained to manage migrated applications on AWS and have the documentation necessary to do so

About Us

Mission Cloud has extensive experience in AWS migrations and modernizations, and we hold the AWS Migrations Competency among others. We have a deep understanding of the VMware ecosystem and will use AWS native tooling and handle everything from assessing your current infrastructure to designing and implementing a migration strategy that meets your unique needs.

We follow best practices for AWS migrations, including the MAP framework, help you to secure AWS funding and tag workloads appropriately, and will suggest a phase of discovery and assessment, followed by mobilization, migration, and modernization as needed.
