The purpose of the Splunk Cloud Optimization project is to execute recommendations and remediation items from an assessment previously performed by KGI. The optimization is prioritized by the criticality of the recommendations and the estimated effort required for each. This methodology helps customers get optimal results from the optimization. • Health Check Scorecard Review and Issue Prioritization: This phase will host a session to review the Health Check Scorecard (developed by the Splunk Engineer during the client’s assessment) to determine what remediations need to be made within the client’s Splunk environment. Remediation tasks will be agreed upon and prioritized by the customer to set the scope for the rest of the project and resolve the issues discovered during the assessment.
• Splunk Optimization Implementation: Scope of Services and deliverables will be detailed fully based on the results of the assessment and review with the customer as agreed upon during the Scorecard review. The Splunk engineer will move forward to perform the remediation tasks as agreed upon during the Health Check Scorecard review. • Splunk Optimization Monitoring: During this phase the Splunk Engineer will monitor the Splunk environment to ensure that the recommended remediations have been implemented and are providing the value described from the assessment. This phase will allow for a feedback session with the customer so that they can understand how the remediation was implemented and how to monitor the environment going forward.
