Why/Outcome Our VMware certified expert will assess and analyze your VMware vSphere and VMware Cloud on AWS infrastructure. Based on experience and best practices, the consultant will then deliver a presentation with the findings. A final report with configuration recommendations and current state of the environment will be delivered within 1 week after concluding the online assessment.

​ What We will perform a combination of a manual and automated analysis of the VMware vSphere VMware Cloud on AWS environment. The manual analysis includes up to 1 vCenter Server/SDDC system, up to 16 hosts and up to 50 VMs (total environment can hold more machines, but only 50 will be analyzed in-depth): • Log-Analysis: ESXi, vCenter Server, VMware Cloud on AWS • Configuration-Analysis: ESXi, vCenter Server, Clusters and Cluster Services (HA DRS …), up to 50 VMs (virtualization layer), VMware Cloud on AWS • Basic review of Backup and DR capabilities • Performance-Analysis: ESXi, vCenter Server, up to 50 VMs (virtualization layer), VMware HCX • Introduction to key metrics for VMware admins (30 min, 2 participants) • Basic review of NSX configuration and usage (Routing, VPN and Firewall) • Detailed report of the current situation, the optimization possibilities and current risks and faults.

Detailed operations • Introduction and access handover • Health Analyzer configuration and deployment (App or OVA) • Introduction to the new Health check plugin in vSphere • Manual analysis of the current environment • Presentation of manual and automated analysis results • Report generation (offsite) within 7 working days. ​ An optional NSX, vSAN and Backup deep dive is available.
