An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Once the instance is running, point your browser to https://instance:8834/ , where "instance" is either the fully qualified domain name or IP address of the instance. (Optional) If you want to use the GUI to configure this AMI, the connect your browser to https://instance:8000 . In order to use the GUI on port 8000 you must configure your user with a password either by supplying it in the userdata section of 'Configure Instance Details' or by setting one after logging in via ssh with an SSH key.
