Overview
Running Selenium on an EC2 instance is the easiest way to get started with Selenium in the Cloud. It provides a reliable solution for your long running Selenium tasks. We offer Linux based (both Headless and with Graphic User Interface) as well as Windows based solutions for: Selenium Webdriver, Selenium Remote Webdriver & Selenium Grid. These tools are best suited for: Test Automation, Automating Routine Web Tasks, Web Crawlers and App Monitoring. This AMI comes with complete & detailed documentation, sample code snippets and 24/7 email support at support@silverlining.cloud . Contact us for all your infrastructure and coding opportunities.
Dynamic Grid offers the possibility for running remote Selenium tests concurrently in isolated Docker environments. The maximum of current session is determined by the number of vCPU of your instance. The Grid server automatically queues incoming request to avoid unwanted overloading.

Usage instructions
Find detailed documentation at: https://www.silverlining.cloud/docs/aws/selenium-dynamic-grid
-
Selenium Grid Initialization: Upon launching the EC2 instance, Selenium Grid is automatically initiated. By default, Selenium operates on port 4444, which is open to all traffic. For enhanced security, consider restricting access through the AWS Management Console.
-
Client-Side Setup: Install Selenium language libraries on the client side.
-
Using the Grid (Python Example): Below is a Python example using Chrome. Visit our documentation for additional language support, including NodeJS and Java.
from selenium import webdriver from selenium.webdriver.chrome.options import Options as ChromeOptions options = ChromeOptions()
Instantiate the WebDriver
driver = webdriver.Remote( command_executor='http://100.27.5.175:4444/wd/hub ', options=options ) driver.get("https://www.whatismybrowser.com ") driver.save_screenshot('screenshot.png') driver.quit()
