How do we do it?

The OLA will provide access to a variety of agent less and agent based discovery tooling such as Cloudamize, Flexera or Modelize IT which will allow Mantel Group to:

• Install the automated discovery tool in the on premise and cloud environment
• Gather usage data, trend analysis, licensing and application dependencies on the existing environment
• Identify which resources you wish to migrate, retain on-premises, or retire based on the AWS 7Rs methodology
• Produce cost modelling and highlight opportunities for saving on both licensing and compute by providing instance recommendations based on utilization data and Windows licensing specific optimizations
• Identify opportunities to lower your database costs

You will get an OLA report highlighting

• AWS pricing models showing cost optimised recommendations based on current utilization & performance data
• Ways to optimize and lower Windows, SQL Server and Oracle licensing spend
• With OLA data we’ll have access to detailed, accurate information about the current estate which will allow for accelerated migrations by identifying application dependencies and building move groups based on low risk and high return.
