Product Description
Time series data of confirmed cases of COVID-19 and number of deaths, by county. Data is collated by USAFacts, a not-for-profit nonpartisan civic organization. Enigma searches for updates and publishes data every 6 hours.
Methodology
Data is aggregated from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state- and local-level public health agencies. County-level data is confirmed by referencing state and local agencies directly. Data is from January 22, 2020.
Key Fields
Data is organized into two separate files, confirmed cases and deaths.
Each file has the following fields:
- County FIPS
- County name
- State
- State FIPS
