Collecting metrics from multiple sources across multi-cloud boundaries for monitoring is a challenging task. Be it through different public cloud APIs or approaches. SaaS-based monitoring solutions often lead to high monthly costs as the corresponding cloud environments grow.

Arvato Systems' solution, OpsWatch, currently allows customers to collect data from the following sources:

• AWS Service Quotas

• AWS GuardDuty events
• Various AWS API Extensions

In the process, OpsWatch collects, processes, and enriches data to integrate with the leading open source monitoring solution, Prometheus.
