According to AWS Prescriptive Guidance, a landing zone is a well-architected, multi-account AWS environment that is a starting point from which a customer can deploy workloads and applications. It provides a baseline to get started with multi-account architecture, identity and access management, governance, data security, network design, and logging. Customer can choose between two options to create landing zone in AWS, first one is using AWS Control Tower, while second one is customised landing zone built by the customer or its partner. AWS Control Tower offers automation of the landing zone setup, using best practices blueprints for identity, federated access, and account structure. However, even with automation, a high level of technical understanding of the AWS cloud is still required. Furthermore, if the customer has additional setups not supported by AWS Control Tower, it will increase the complexity. Our AWS experts will ensure that the implemented landing zone meets the customer’s requirements, while adhering to AWS best practices.

• Intermediate Tier: Suitable for medium sized businesses
• Advanced Tier: Suitable for larger SMEs
