
Overview
The claims data contained on the ETA 539 report are used in current economic analysis of unemployment trends in the Nation, and in each state. Included with this resouce are both the ETA 539's historical raw data and a copy of the U.S. Department of Labor ETA´s weekly release "Unemployment Insurance Claims" report. Comments within the report serve to offer further context to recent data reflected in the raw data files.

The dataset follows a format of 1 row per state for a given week. The columns are:
