IBM Security Services for Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) helps assess, reduce, and manage risk resulting from limited visibility, complex compliance requirements and possible misconfiguration across your AWS and public multi-cloud infrastructures. IBM Security Services solution addresses: AWS Resources Inventory Visibility, AWS Security Best Practices Monitoring, and AWS Compliance Monitoring.
IBM Security Services, works with best-of-breed ISV technologies :
- Provides agentless native integration of AWS resources and services
- Optimizes usage of monitoring services (e.g. AWS Config, AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, etc.)
- Enables continuous visibility and monitoring by type of service, region, account and other relevant attributes
- Allows organizations to quickly assess security posture against best practices, identify risks and gaps and provide recommendations
- Assesses AWS resource configuration against multiple compliance standards including CIS AWS, HIPAA, ISO 27001:2013, PCI DSS amongst others, as well as corporate mandates
- Captures and records baseline drift and maintain a historical record of the compliance posture
