    AWS Threat Management Assessment

     Info

    Overview

Today’s data breaches can result in significant cost, liabilities and damaged reputation. The AWS Threat Management Assessment begins the process to identify gaps in your AWS cloud security posture and identify actions to resolve. This assessment typically includes a high-level review of the following capabilities:

    • Vulnerability Management
    • Threat Detect, Triage and Respond
    • Incident Response
    • AWS Resource Inventory Visibility
    • AWS Best Practices Monitoring
    • Compliance Posture Management
    • Managed Network IDS/IPS
    • Managed Host and Endpoint Security
    • DDoS Defense
    • WAF and Application Security

The Threat Management assessment format is a virtual interactive session that is facilitated by an IBM Security Intelligence and Operations Consultant. A typical Threat Management Assessment engagement lasts 3 days to conduct the interviews, document findings and deliver a final report.

    What to expect?

The workshop focuses on the security components critical for protecting your business workloads across your AWS deployment landscape. IBM leads a structured conversation to walk through the components of your AWS cloud infrastructure, performing a map/gap exercise about related security capabilities and capturing key observations and initial recommendations.

For unique customer requirements or for a more extensive strategy and roadmap, the consulting engagement can be tailored to an organization’s unique business goals and security requirements. Depending upon unique requirements, the duration of engagement can change.

    Follow-on services can consist of:

    • Cloud security consulting services to uncover your AWS and hybrid cloud strategy
    • Consulting services for the assessment, design, implementation and alignment of AWS native security services with enterprise security operations
    • Design and build of AWS and hybrid cloud security operations centers
    • 24/7 Managed Security Services and managed extended detection and response solution over time

This Threat Management Assessment is strictly a consulting engagement. Although the assessment engagement does not require technology licensing, this marketplace tile refers to leading technology which can be associated with solutions for security threat management operations.

The fee for IBM’s standard 3-day AWS Threat Management Assessment is $9,800.
