You buy access by plan level, priced per user per month and billed annually. The Team Plan and Business Plan represent two capability levels, each sold in user units. The Enterprise level offers two options: an Enterprise User (Annual) Bundle and an Enterprise User volume unit for scaling seat counts. All users in an account share one plan. Each plan carries a platform minimum, so your total reflects both plan level and user quantity. You add users within a chosen plan rather than mixing plans across your account.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as a billed user, and is there a minimum charge beyond user seats?
Each user is a person with account access, billed per user per month and paid annually. Every plan also carries a platform minimum fee. Your total reflects both this minimum and your user count, so small accounts still meet the minimum regardless of seat number.
Can I place some users on the Team Plan and others on the Business Plan?
No. All users in your account must share one plan. You cannot mix plan levels across the same account. To change capability level, you move the whole account to a different plan rather than assigning plans user by user.
How does the Enterprise User (Annual) Bundle differ from the Enterprise User volume unit for scaling seats?
Both cover Enterprise-level access. The Enterprise User (Annual) Bundle groups seats as a bundled annual purchase. The Enterprise User volume unit lets you add individual seats to scale your count. Both bill per user and apply at the Enterprise capability level.

Flexible, Customizable Quickbase for Streamlined Sales and Marketing Workflows
Reviewed on Oct 31, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Quickbase is its flexibility. In Sales and Marketing, we have to juggle multiple activities at the same time—managing new leads, tracking marketing campaigns, preparing customer follow-ups, and putting together performance reports. Quickbase helps us keep all of these tasks organized in one place. I especially like the customizable applications and workflows, since we can tailor them to our team’s specific needs. The dashboards and reporting tools also make it easier to understand what’s happening day to day and to keep an eye on the team’s overall performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, configuring Quickbase can take some time, especially when you’re setting up workflows with multiple stages. Some of the more advanced customization options aren’t immediately clear to new users and take a bit of practice to get comfortable with. I’d also like to see a few more ways to customize dashboards so sales and marketing reports can be presented more effectively. If the initial setup were made a little simpler, it would likely be easier for new users to adopt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest challenge in managing Sales and Marketing activities is maintaining strong coordination across different teams while keeping all the necessary information up to date. Too often, that information ends up scattered across spreadsheets, emails, and multiple tracking systems. Quickbase helps mitigate this issue by bringing business records, task assignments, and activity updates together in one centralized workspace. As a result, it becomes easier to track lead progress, campaign-related tasks, and customer follow-ups in a more consistent way. It also reduces the time spent repeatedly collecting and compiling manual updates, allowing the team to focus more on planning, execution, and business development.

Quickbase Makes Student Counselling Journeys Easy to Track and Personalize
Reviewed on Oct 31, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
In educational counselling, every student’s story is unique. Some students feel confused about their career direction, others struggle to balance family expectations with their personal interests, and some need time to identify the right choice among various course options.
In such situations, Quickbase’s customised data management approach proves highly useful. It allows a student’s journey to be organised not merely as an enquiry number or an admission status, but within the context of their preferences, past discussions, and any remaining unanswered questions. As a counsellor, I believe that building upon previous conversations rather than having to re-evaluate a student from scratch makes the counselling process significantly more meaningful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the numerous customization options to design your specific workflow can initially feel overwhelming. Non-technical professionals, in particular, may need extra time to grasp the more advanced configurations.
Personally, I would find it helpful to have ready-to-use templates and simplified configuration guides tailored to specific professional workflows such as those used in educational counseling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In educational counselling, one situation is frequently challenging: a student might say at the end of a session that they will consider their options and get back to you, only to return with entirely different priorities. Sometimes the concern is the duration of a course, at other times it is the career scope, or perhaps family expectations that influence their decision.
This is where I find the potential of a tool like Quickbase particularly interesting. By maintaining a connected record of a student’s evolving preferences, past objections, key discussion points, and pending clarifications, a counsellor can gain a better understanding of the student’s decision-making journey.
For example, if a student expresses a preference for a specific programme during their first counselling session, but shifts their interest to an alternative programme by the second session, having a record of previous discussions makes it much easier to track and understand their changing thought process.
From my perspective, effective counselling is not just about presenting admission options to a student; it is also about understanding the confusion that may lie behind their decision. A flexible platform like Quickbase can be highly useful in making this process more organised and context-driven.

Quickbase Makes Firmware Builds and Regression Testing Easy to Trace
Reviewed on Oct 30, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
From the perspective of a Junior Software Engineer, the most useful aspect of Quickbase is its ability to link firmware build details, hardware configuration, and regression testing observations to a structured engineering record. This makes it easier to trace the testing history and validation status of a specific build.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that for highly technical engineering workflows, some advanced configurations in Quickbase might initially be time-consuming. For instance, representing complex dependencies between multiple firmware versions and hardware variants is not straightforward. Improved version-diff visualization and developer-focused debugging integrations could make the platform even more useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An interesting challenge during software-hardware integration is that the same firmware build can exhibit different behaviors across different hardware configurations. Quickbase provides a structured approach to link test observations, build identifiers, hardware revisions, and defect references. This makes it easier to investigate the historical context of failed test cases and identify validation gaps.

Easy Project Tracking and Custom Dashboards That Keep Teams Organized
Reviewed on Oct 30, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Quickbase is how easy it makes managing multiple projects in one place. We use it to assign tasks, track deadlines, and check project progress without going through multiple Excel sheets. The custom dashboards are really helpful during weekly team meetings to see what's pending and who's working on what. I also like that we can create custom fields and update workflows without needing a developer. It took some time to learn initially, but now it saves us a lot of manual follow-ups and keeps the team organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Quickbase is that advanced workflows can be confusing. While configuring Quickbase pipeline to send notifications when a project task is overdue, getting the triggers and conditions right took several attempts. Also, linking multiple tables and adjusting relationships isn't very straightforward for beginners. Sometimes even small changes to reports or dashboards take more clicks than expected. The platform works well once everything is set up, but I feel the initial configuration and troubleshooting could be much simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quickbase helps us manage multiple clients without relying on different Excel sheets and constant follow-ups. In our data research project, we can use it to assign tasks to team members, track data verification progress, and monitor delivery deadlines. Earlier, checking which records were pending or completed required too many manual updates. Now we can see everything on one dashboard, including delayed tasks and team responsibilities. Automated notifications also help us catch delays early. It saves a lot of coordination time and makes client deliveries easier to manage.

Low-Code App Building with Powerful Tables, Pipelines, and Dashboards
Reviewed on Oct 30, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Quickbase is that it lets you build data-driven applications without having to write all the code from scratch. As a Backend Developer, I find its Tables, Fields, and Relationships especially useful because they help me manage information in a structured, systematic way. With its low-code approach, I can put together internal applications and data-management workflows quickly. In addition, Quickbase Pipelines helps automate workflows, and the customized reports and dashboards make it easier to understand records and day-to-day working conditions. Overall, it cuts down the time I spend on repetitive, common development tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Despite Quickbase’s flexibility, its advanced configuration can be a bit complicated. When an application has multiple related tables, conditional workflows, and complex formulas, it takes time to set everything up correctly. Troubleshooting errors in Pipelines can also be challenging at times, especially when data is transferring across many applications. As a developer working with Python and SQL, I sometimes feel the need for more direct control over application logic and data processing. Better documentation for advanced configuration and debugging would make the overall experience easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A common challenge in software development is managing business information across multiple spreadsheets, databases, and communication channels. Quickbase helps bring that information into a centralized platform where records, task updates, and workflows can be managed together. With its customizable applications, the need for frequent backend-solution development for routine internal processes can be reduced. Its forms, approval workflows, and reporting features also improve coordination between different teams. In my view, Quickbase is especially useful for routine data management and workflow-based applications, while Python, SQL, and custom APIs still play important roles when you need complex business logic or more specialized backend requirements.
