What do you like best about the product?
we could solve business problem without waiting on developer. A lot of the processes we manage our unique to our business with we were able to build and adjust workflows ourselves instead submitting request and waiting months for IT resources. It helped us finally move from the spreadsheet chaos before quick pace information was spread across multiple spreadsheets, emails and shared folders having everything in one place, made it much easier to know what was actually happening across projects. It’s easy to adapt when process change the way we worked three years ago is different from how we work today, we have been able to modify forms work flows in tracking without having to start over every time, the business walls.
What do you dislike about the product?
reporting can take some trial and error getting exactly the report or dashboard you want is not always at street forward as it should be pipeline of new features. Sometime takes a lot of time as application group keeping organised becomes important without good structure and naming convention in terms of terminology, it can get little harder to manage overtime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick base solved a visibility problem for us before using it. Information lived in spreadsheet, emails and different systems. We made it difficult to know that the status of projects or identify bottle mix. Having everything in one place has made tracking work managing accountability and making decision much easier.

Versatile Data Management, Limited Pipeline Capabilities

    Reviewed on May 22, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like Quickbase for its structure, especially in terms of how the tables and forms are set up and the app management. The form creation portal is pretty nice, and the editing options along with form rules are helpful. I heavily use tables, forms, reports, and pipelines. The reports and notifications are particularly helpful for relaying filtered data to specific users. Quickbase integrates well with our existing tools through its API and pipelines, making data flow between systems manageable. Performance is generally solid, though it can slow down with very large datasets. In terms of ROI, the time saved on manual data tracking has justified the cost for our team. Onboarding took some learning, but the support resources and documentation helped us get up to speed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pipelines are very limited. I have a coding background and I find pipelines very limiting in their capabilities. Where in code I can write a few simple lines to perform an action, I find I'm creating many, many steps in pipelines and sometimes that I cannot even perform the functionality that I'd like to with pipelines. Nested JSON/token parsing is a nightmare - pipelines should auto-parse API responses and surface a live field tree. Fragile schema sample - the schema sample field should either be eliminated in favor of auto-detection or at least have an infer button that forces a real request and builds the token tree from the live response. Date formatting - qb should either fully document which Jinja functions and filters are supported or replace the freeform expression field with a structured date formatter UI - pick your field, format - currently have to guess between {{now}}, {{now()}}, and {{today()}}. Conditional branching beyond simple if/else - multi-branch logic (switch/case style) would reduce the number of duplicate pipelines you have to maintain. Error handling and try/catch blocks - right now a failed step silently kills the pipeline when maybe that record should just be skipped instead and continue looping through the other records. Support for multi-record operations in a single step rather than needing one trigger per record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Quickbase as a low code solution for maintaining a lot of data. It simplifies data tracking, reports, and notifications, which is great for when you don't have time to build a complex web app. Without Quickbase, we have to manage data across multiple spreadsheets, which makes it difficult to keep information consistent and up to date. Quickbase consolidates everything into one place, reducing errors and saving hours of manual work each week. The ability to set up automated notifications means the right people get the right data without anyone having to remember to send it. It's also allows non-developers on our team to build and modify apps themselves, which has taken a lot of pressure off our technical staff and sped up how quickly we can respond to changing business needs.
