Incredibly Customizable—Quickbase Centralized Our Projects in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
It’s incredibly customizable. Nearly anything I’ve wanted to do (or that others in my org have asked for) seems possible. It sometimes takes a bit of Googling and some time to figure out how to make it happen, but there are plenty of resources out there (Quickbase University, Quickbase Community, office hours) to help me work through different use cases. Before Quickbase, we had multiple spreadsheets that were owned by different people to track all of our projects. Now almost everything we do lives in one place, with one owner but everyone has the access they need. The pricing seemed high for us because we're a small company with only a few employees, and we'll likely never meet the minimum users required. But we keep finding uses for it that make it more valuable all the time!
What do you dislike about the product?
Because we’re a small company with only a few users, I do wish there were plans available with lower user limits, though I understand they need to cover their costs and turn a profit. The learning curve was pretty steep for me; there were plenty of days I went home frustrated because I knew what I wanted to do was possible, but I just couldn’t figure out how to do it. At the time, Quickbase University had a ton of content to help me learn, but some of it felt outdated since they had recently released several new features along with an updated UI. Lately, I’ve noticed that a lot of the Quickbase U content has been refreshed to match the current UI, so it should be easier for new folks who are just getting started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have spreadsheets everywhere, and our information was siloed in each person’s individual files. Even though we never missed a deadline, we always knew there was some risk—especially if an employee had to take unexpected leave. Now, everyone has access to all the information, which makes it much easier to stay aligned and keep work moving. The built-in report and notification capabilities give us another layer of protection so we don't miss something important.
Quickbase’s Flexible Customization and Dashboards Make Reporting a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase is flexible and lets us customize solutions around our specific needs. It also offers plenty of built-in dashboards and reporting tools that can be tailored to display data exactly how we want. For instance, we can create user-specific dashboards, track KPI metrics, and use different types of charts to visualize results. It supports integrations with external tools like Power BI when needed, although many of the reporting features we rely on can be handled directly within Quickbase.
Another aspect I appreciate is the ability to share forms with clients so they can fill them out themselves, which reduces manual effort on their side. The fact that these forms are mobile-responsive is especially helpful for teams working on-site.

What do you dislike about the product?
We haven’t faced any particular dislikes with Quickbase so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Quickbase, we relied heavily on Excel and other manual processes, which were time-consuming and prone to errors. For example, our clients would enter data into spreadsheets and send them to us, and then we would manually process that information to generate reports in Power BI. The whole workflow was inefficient and involved a lot of back-and-forth.
With Quickbase, we’ve been able to streamline this by letting clients enter data directly into the system through forms. That input automatically updates our dashboards and reports in real time, which has significantly reduced manual effort for both our clients and our team. On top of that, Quickbase’s role-based access control helps ensure users only see the data that’s relevant to them, which is especially important when managing projects across different regions. Overall, Quickbase has helped us automate workflows, improve collaboration, and save time.

Easy Spreadsheet-to-Table Setup with Straightforward Design and Excellent Support

Ability to use spreadsheets to start tables, straight forward design features, excellent support

Some graphical options and set up are not as advanced as I would like

Our apps become the central location for key commercial information, no more spreadsheets being sent around, ability to define and track work flows and generate internal approvals for key tasks
Valuable tool for CRM, information-reporting and visuals
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to produce multiple reports and provide multiple layers of data, information, and visuals. It can also collect data from multiple sources and turn it into valuable business information.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some cases, I run into speed issues, likely because there are so many data sources connected to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing aggregate information for topics I work on, in a unified way, and allowing me to perform my CRM tasks very easily
Customizable and Supportive, But Needs Performance Tweaks
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Quickbase is easy to build and has a good customer support team. The roll out time is usually short, and if we are stuck, we have someone to ask for help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The performance on some features is weak, particularly with dashboard filters and report loading.

I use Quickbase for tracking and managing data updates and customizing workflows for different users.
Seamless Portal Management, Exceptional Support
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the ease of creating the app for our clients with QuickBase. The staff at QuickBase was very knowledgeable and helpful, even bringing their own ideas to assist us in creating certain workflows that we needed. They made the process very easy. The team continued to be supportive even with ongoing changes needed after the app was created. The fact that the app had a strong starting point was also very beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
For what we use this application for, the acceptable volume of medical records could be larger.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Quickbase for our customer portal, allowing clients to log in, send referrals, and manage every aspect from receiving to delivering a final report. It simplifies creating apps and workflows, making it very easy with a helpful, knowledgeable staff.
Straightforward and Easy to Use

It is very straightforward and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that it is slow especially if there are many using the server at the same time.

Best-in-Class Security You Can Trust
What do you like best about the product?
Our customers require us to have tremendous security surrounding thier data. What Quickbase allows is for us to utilize their platform and provide that best in class security.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization can be difficult, however, we are getting better on our end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A secure platform to house our customer data which includes PII/PHI.
Easy Carrier Details Access, But Performance Feels Slow
What do you like best about the product?
Easy access to our carrier base information, with all the details included.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product feels quite slow to use. The graphics could also use some updates and can definitely be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides easy access to our carrier information and makes managing the account straightforward.
Easy to Share, but Too Limiting and Frustrating to Navigate
What do you like best about the product?
It sorts data into an easy to understand format that I can share with non-technical users. It is easy to integrate with 3rd party applications using the API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Simplicity can be a little too limiting at times. Plus the menu navigation is a pain in the ass; it feels like all important settings are in a different spot and it gets difficult to tell where something is supposed to be.

It allows my company to have a single source of truth that maintains accuracy and legitimacy across users to keep our responses consistent across clients.
