Reliable Data Transfers with Strong Pipeline Error Handling.
Reviewed on Aug 17, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
We use Quickbase to move data between our plants in Asia and the US. What really saves me is the error handling in pipelines. Last quarter, one of our suppliers sent a file with missing part numbers. Before Quickbase, the whole thing would just crash. Now I set it up so it skips the bad rows, logs the error, and keeps going. I can see exactly which vendor messed up and ask them to fix it accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pipelines can get slow when you add too many steps. We have a lot of data coming in from different countries and sometimes I'm just staring at the screen waiting for it to finish. But I guess that's the price you pay for having all the error checking. Still, I wish they'd optimize it a bit more for large datasets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had no visibility into data issues until something broke. Now when a field is missing, the pipeline catches it and creates a record. My team in Singapore checks these daily and follows up with suppliers. It's helped us cut down on surprise delays. At least we know what's going wrong and can plan around it.

Simple Setup for Fast ECU Version Tracking.
Reviewed on Aug 16, 2026

What do you like best about the product?
Its pretty simple to get going. At Volvo I needed something to track software versions for our ECUs and I was able to built it myself. Uploaded a spreadsheet of parts data and within an hour had charts and reports. The webinars helped when I got stuck. My team picked it up fast too, which surprised me. Way easier than the SAP software we deal with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The charts could use more options. I tried to compare multiple test runs and it got complicated pretty quick. The webhooks are still beta which is annoying cause I wanted to set up reminders based on dates not just when records change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track test vehicle parts now with the help of Quickbase. Tracking hardware assets and licenses used to be a real struggle for us. Now I get alerts when things need renewing. No more scrambling at the last minute. We used to have people emailing around files for software requests but now its all in one place.

Simplifying Timesheet Management with Quickbase
Reviewed on Aug 15, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like most about Quickbase is that you can customize it around the way your team actually works. In my project, I use it to manage weekly timesheet PDF files. I also created a formula URL button that links directly to a custom solution. When a reviewer needs to remove sensitive information from a PDF, they can click the button, open the file in a browser-based redaction tool, black out the sections they need to remove, and save the updated PDF. It makes the process much easier than handling the files separately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, I don't have any major dislikes about Quickbase. It has been flexible and effective for the workflows I've built, and so far, it has met my requirements well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We connected a custom PDF blackout/redaction tool with Quickbase so reviewers can open a timesheet, remove any sensitive information, and save the updated file without having to go through a separate process. It cuts down on the manual work involved and makes the review process quicker and more consistent for our team.

Reliable All in One ECU Release Workflow.
Reviewed on Aug 14, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it keeps everything in one place for our ECU release workflow at Ford. It doesn't do the actual signing but we built a .NET API that gets called through Pipelines. Quickbase sends over the file and signer positions and our system generates the links. It's been pretty reliable actually. Pipelines trigger on record changes without issues. The performance is fine even with all this custom stuff sitting on top. Just takes some upfront work to keep your tables clean so the JSON payloads don't break.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest thing is you have to build so much outside the platform. I'm an embedded engineer not a web dev so maintaining this API is not really what I signed up for. Passing complex data through Pipelines was trial and error since the documentation is kinda vague. Also setting up permissions across tables was confusing. We had some issues where people couldn't see what they needed and it took a while to sort out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solved our tracking problem. Before this we had no central system for managing who signed off on firmware releases. Now Quickbase kicks off our API automatically whenever a new request is needed. That means we don't have to manually handle PDFs or worry about filling in placeholders wrong. Everything gets archived to SharePoint without us thinking about it. The whole pipeline is traceable now which helps when we get audited.

Quickbase Centralized Our Data with Custom Dashboards and Helpful Automation
Reviewed on Aug 14, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Quickbase has been a solid tool for us because it allows us to centralize all of our data and make it accessible to the people who need it. Before Quickbase, we were dealing with a mess of Excel spreadsheets, rogue documents, and systems that didn’t talk to each other. Now, everything is in one place, and it’s tailored to what each person needs to see. For example, our supervisors can log in and immediately see the information they need about their team without having to call me or wait for a report. It’s reduced the number of calls and texts I get asking for data by 60-70%. I also like that Quickbase lets me customize dashboards and reports for different roles, so everyone from shift managers to plant managers can get the data they need without digging through irrelevant information. The automation features, like sending alerts for upcoming certifications or deadlines, have been a big help too. It’s not perfect, but it’s made my job a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing could be a bit more transparent. As far as the system itself goes, if there is something I "don't like" I have the power to change it—definitely no issues there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Quickbase, we were tracking everything in Excel, and it was a nightmare. If those spreadsheets weren’t updated daily, the information would get outdated fast, and we’d end up with gaps in training data. Multiple people trying to update the same document would cause confusion, and managers couldn’t get a clear picture of where their teams stood. We also had training records scattered across HR, safety, and quality departments, with no single source of truth. When it came time for recertifications, we didn’t know who was certified, when they were last certified, or who needed training. It was a mess.
With Quickbase, we’ve centralized all of that. Now, we can track certifications, training progress, and even corrective actions in one system. Automated alerts let us know when certifications are coming due, and supervisors get weekly reports on incomplete trainings. This has saved us 12-16 hours a week that we used to spend compiling data manually. It’s also helped us with compliance — our VPP auditors said they’d never seen a system like this and wished they could emulate it for the masses. On top of that, having everything in one place has improved communication and accountability. Managers can see their team’s progress and training gaps at a glance, which helps them address issues faster and more effectively. Overall, Quickbase has helped us reduce turnover, improve safety, and streamline operations.

Quickbase Keeps Our Changing Workflows Organized.
Reviewed on Aug 13, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can adjust things without needing developers. At HPE our workflows change pretty often and Quickbase lets me tweak fields or add new steps without starting over. We use it for partner service validations and it syncs with our other tools pretty well. My team feels more organized now and we don't lose track of requests like we used to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The permissions setup is kind of a hassle for us. We have different partners and internal teams needing different access and configuring that took me a while to get right. I still don't fully understand some of the settings but still trying to get used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly it keeps everything in one spot. Before we had documents in one place, approvals in another and notes everywhere. Now it's all tied to the same record. When a partner submits something the system handles validations and updates the status. It saves us time and makes me look more organized.
