    Overview

    Cintra’s DBOLA Assessment is your first step in developing a business case to migrate your Oracle or SQL workloads to AWS. This funded assessment will optimise your database estate including Oracle RAC, Exadata and legacy UNIX platforms for AWS.

    We will perform a zero impact discovery and automated assessment of your database workloads using our Database Freedom automation. The assessment will deliver a technical and commercial design in the form of an executive report containing:

    • a summary of your database discovery findings with useful insights.
    • your viable AWS database migration options (EC2, RDS).
    • targeted candidate databases to migrate to Oracle Standard Edition or PostGres.
    • Oracle database licensing summaries for each option (used vs owned).
    • multi-year AWS cloud and Oracle database license costs for each migration option.

    Cintra’s Database Freedom automation provides intelligent migration option designs based on the following:

    • right sizing workload to select efficient cloud server shapes based on percentile data combined with CPU power rating .
