This is our latest RHEL 7 LAMP Stack AMI that includes RedHat7 Linux, Apache HTTPD web server, MySQL/MariaDB database, and PHP/Perl/Python programming languages. Webmin, one of the most used free web based system configuration tools for system administrators, is included as well.

LAMP stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (or Perl/Python). Together, they provide a proven set of software for delivering high-performance web applications. Each component contributes essential capabilities to the stack.

In our RedHat 7 LAMP Stack AMI, root login is disabled and only the 'ec2-user' is allowed to connect using ssh public key authentication. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 security updates available at the release date are included.
