- This is a repackaged open-source software product wherein additional charges apply for technical support and maintenance by Apps4Rent.
- Miniconda is a free minimal installer for conda. Miniconda allows you to create customized environments by installing additional packages from the thousands of additional packages. You can create separate environments for each project and easily share your environment with others for easy reproducibility.
- Miniconda is a small bootstrap version of Anaconda. It includes only Conda and Python, and a small number of other useful packages like pip, zlib, and a few others. Miniconda is lightweight and quick to install, making it a great choice if you're working with limited disk space or only need specific packages. If you need more packages, use the conda install command to install from thousands of packages available by default in the public repo of Anaconda, or from other channels, like conda-forge or bioconda.
