Don't install this, is a trash
The ERP Next packaged by bitnami is garbage, do not install it, I do not recommend it. I've wasted 12 hours of my life installing and debugging malfunctions, it's garbage. Better look for another solution or install it manually.
ERPnext are great, but the default company "bitnami" is a nightmare
Waste hours and hours changing every default company, default account and default EVERYTHING from bitnami (the default) to my company.
It's a nightmare change the name of bitnami, or delete the default company bitnami, because nothing will be work.
Bitnami is great, i love your products, but this product configuration does not save me any time, on the contrary, I waste hours and hours configuring
no docu,mentation
wasted 2 hours figuring it out. the links provided for documentation doesn't work - couldn't get the password to login
Problem with dates configurations
I like the design of this ERP, it's simple and visually beautiful. The big great problem is that it wasn't functional for me at all.
The first time I launched the instance I changed the default access email to a new one (admin access), but for some reason the system didn't update it, and message of "user@example.com is missing" didn't let me do anything at all, I couldn't login... No other solution to terminate and launch a new instance.
After giving it another try, happened a problem with dates. Maybe because I switched language to spanish, but I can't add clients or suppliers because an error message of fiscal year no match or something like that. It looks like it's a problem with date formats within the software yyyy-mm-dd, dd-mm-yyyy or mm-dd-yyyy, I don't know exactly what it is, but it doesn't let me add any customer/supplier and who knows what other kind of troubles will give me in the future. Maybe if you are from an european/north american country might be okay, if not, keep it into consideration and check this ERP carefully.
