Git with gitolite by Alestic LLC

Requires Personal SSH
I need a very simple and easy solution for a git repo. However, after installing this my amazon ssh key did not work and there was no way to login. After reading the docs I saw they require you to create a personal ssh key using aws command line tools. Unfortunately, I don't use AWS command line tools and what is supposed to be a simple and easy solution just became not so simple and easy.

Excellant product!
Very easy to setup. Now I've got a happy group of developers using GIT! Gitolite is cool, as you don't need real UNIX users, but only need pseudo users, who can commit, push, pull etc.
Works as Expected
System is well put together. It was quick to get up and running with Git/Gitolite. I had several repositories created and being used within an hr. When creating an instance make sure you create enough disk space for the image (I used a micro instance with 60GB of disk).
I may add another disk and use the same image as my Maven repository.
Easy to install and works fine
Takes just a few minutes to get it running.
Works fine and fast.
Uses much more space than what was expected. After installed only 10GB out of 30GB, was remaining.
Don't forget to open ports on the windows firewall, or disable it, otherwise anybody will be able to access your site.
