Odoo is a good product, full-lines functionality, easy to install and easy to use. It is very suitable for web site building, on-line product selling, CRM, MRP, etc. Many different kind of companies will find its benefit.

Deployment of Odoo AMI went very smoothly.
But documentation did not tell me how to obtain the admin password for the application itself.

There is no audit trail module available on Odoo8.

Why it is available in version 7 and removed from version 8 ?

How to add this module in version 8?

Installation is seamless and adding extra modules is easier than other builds because of the location of the my_addons folder. If there is an option to build without demo data I have not found it and there is a lot of demo data to delete. This has kept me from using in a production seting. Also there are not options to create additional databases that I have seen for the instance such as are found on Bitnami Machines. There are plenty of modules that I do not need for my situation, so have to uninstall them as well.

As a new user of openerp, I really appreaciate the convinience to load it onto aws, but I also found:1) it's easy to get 500 internal server error which means it's not stable; 2) this package has been customized deeply which is hard to related own domain with the IP/DNS address; 3) Pragmatic always wants you to call them which seems like fishing, in fact I think it's right for them to sell their service, but isn't it better if they are opener to provide a full illustration on how they customize this open-source application? 4) the package is built on t1.micro, and you can only update it to m3(?, not too sure), but pretty sure it can't be updated to t2.micro which is also free for the first year.
