A complete visualization tool for all industries
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau efffectively describes the story that data have through distinctive colourful visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times the procedures in Tableau appear to be a bit too complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Once a dataset or a set of datasets are uploaded in Tableau I can use it to join them and accordingly process, clean the data in order to make it analyze ready. In the dashboard section, I use different plots to analyze data and draw proper interpretation from those.

Best data visualization and analysis tool ever
What do you like best about the product?
Tableau has been a time saver for organising various data related tasks. It has offered us with efficient ways of organizing data which was a Herculean task for us
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about tableau but I consider there could have been AI integration for better data visualization than manual work which can be automated using AI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau has solved problem of data analysis for us earlier it was difficult using just Microsoft Excel to do predictive analytics but now integrating Bluesky Statistics with it has made us derive actionable insights

It connects directly yo thousands of data sources, both on premises or in the cloud making it easier to start an analysis.
It has an excellent experience to analyse databases that helps simplify and summarise jobs in the office.

It provides much profit to the company that we don't have any dislike about it.

It is now easy to make decisions through looking at the patterns that is provided by the analysed data from the use of Tableau.

Except the complex pricing model there is no dislikes .

- The reports and dashboards helps clients to make decision quickly and the support from the tableau community and customer service adds another level of value by providing resources and assistance when needed.

What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use and interoperability is the best thing that is driving me to use this software . It's integration with Microsoft Excel has made my life easier
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used both power BI and tableau and sometimes task automation seems lot easier in power BI than in tableau. Tasks such as dynamic tables and feedforward tasks are easier to automate in power BI but having said this Tableau has speed in other general operations

Our institute has been consulting many hospitals for improving their operations and using tableau I have worked on various predictive analysis projects. Now we are also working on client specific solutions to provide clean data or synthetic data using gen Ai and Tableau
Useful tool for Reporting and Data Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Capability to handle large amount of data, user interface, ease of integration through multiple sources, ease of implementation and Natural Language methodologies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is not freely available, you need to purchase its license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau has replaced excel from my daily routine. It has been able to handle a large amount of data which can be fetched from multiple sources. Data cleaning and creating multiple insights about the project has helped me analyse the data in a much better way. It has also given me a perspective of which parameters are important and need to be captured during survey or when the customers are filling their details.
Overall, it has helped in desiging reports and dashboards, which can be shared with C-level executives. These reports help in decision making process as it is data-driven. Tableau has also helped in providing critical insights to support the marketing strategies and focus on key areas which require further improvements.

What do you like best about the product?
Its a really powerful Data exploration, analytics and visualization solution that is key in positively transforming systems. Its key in my research undertakings geared to source insights that help improve business processes. It's empowering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some downsides I've seen include challenges where complex data sets are involved. Sometimes requires more time and training to get over. Its also got a complex licencing model.

Its key in my research, key in data exploration, preparation, analysis and presentation. Let's me stay well informed, insightful and able to deliver insight that transform, affect decisions positively, inspire action, change systems.
A lot of possibilities but slow

The amount of possibilities in visualization, like setting data labels from a different metric than the one shown, the fact that you can easily replicate dashboards and use same calculations

it's very slow to update database and publish changes from the desktop app
