What do you like best about the product?
The best tool for managing workflows, making it easier to handle complex processes.

It also helps in managing of workflow data.

A user-friendly web-framework.
What do you dislike about the product?
As, it is a open source software. It increases the chances of anyone accessing the source code. Hence, vigilance and regular security audit is a must.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a tech writer, we have a lot of workflows and data to manage. Thus, the tool helps in handling the complex process and managing the workflows.

What do you like best about the product?
Development of digital assets, remote collaboration and open source available for security and evaluation.
Web-based applications for file sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow support to respond and troubleshoot the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project upload and organize files by relevant metadata, include data, file name and type, date and producer project.

Amazing Workflow!

What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE the business process mapping. This really helps me when I am dealing with many different clients and projects. It lets me visually see all the tasks that I need to do and delegate to my team. They are also very easy to use and have the ability to digest large amount of data and images.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, I think the tool is great and their customer support even better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits to using a workflow tool is that I am able to not only visualize the project but also keep up with it and delegate it to my team. I can also store data right in the tool which makes it easier to retrieve the information.

TACTIC on AWS EC2 starter kit

Project and asset management database for any business at the cost of 'free' + AWS fees. Having this much tech and flexibility at your fingertips in a few minutes on AWS is phenomenal. I've been a user for a while and just tested it out on AWS. There is a bit to learn, but follow my starter kit tutorial link to get your project up and running. As another reviewer points out, you do need java enabled in your web browser. -Helmsie

Easiest Way to deploy TACTIC

Takes just a couple minutes to get it up and running. I'm hoping to see it updated with tactic 4.1 soon, but it works exactly as advertised.

Seems like the other review had some sort of issue with their version of java - it worked just fine for me.

Major Bug preventing users from up-loading assets.

I was very excited about the "1-click" solution but those hopes were dashed about 20 minutes into the experience when the file uploader would not open.

I'm using OSX. I tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox....same result. Downloaded new Java (that was recommended)...no dice.

I hope someone is able to fix that...I'm interested in using this 'solution' with my team of freelancers and account managers.
