We used LoadItAll to migrate a SQL server database to Redshift
The process was painless and took less than half an hour from product installation to completion of the migration effort.
I recommend this tool for data migrations. Previous migration effort of the same SQL database to Netezza took over two weeks.

Load-it-all (LIA) tool can facilitate a data discovery / exploration phase for any BI / Big data project with a great deal of ease, low cost, and super quick turnaround cycle. The tool is simple to use, and the quick install version on the AWS market place was up and running for us in no time. Simplicity of the tool empowered even our business users to undertake basic data exploration tasks independently.
The software is capable of analyzing the data structures from different file sources on the fly, creates necessary tables in your database, and populates it (with a replace option). Once in database, our power users were able to use there SQL skills
to analyze the information source further and even build basic visualizations on it.
Overall - In my opinion, the tool delivers an amazing
prototype / foundation for the IT team to take over and operationalize the ETL process that conforms to an origanization's IT governance.
Load-it-all tool can be a very good complement to any leading ETL engine such as Informatica / Data stage or SSIS.

A fast path to business value
Data, particularly on legacy systems, can be complex and documentation may be sparse or out of date. Analysing the data and trying to determine the perfect data type can take time. From a business perspective it is often unimportant - the requirement is to make something available in order to enable the business to start analysis. This then leads to more concrete requirements which may involve different sets of data or modifications to the original set.
This is what LoadItAll provides - a way of processing a new data source and to provide business value much quicker than traditional methods. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best!
Best tool for fast and easy load of files.
We used this tool at the BI Commercial analysis department to load "csv" files from different sources into our Redshift database to create reports.
The setup process was very intuitive and easy to accomplish. The option of the metadata was very helpful since we were able to define the different data types for the various fields before loading it to the db.
The actual loading of the data was pretty fast too.
We are very satisfied with this product and strongly recommend to any body that needs to deal with loading files from different systems.
