Monitor all Your business application real time .
What do you like best about the product?
I like the real user monitoring feature and addrum.js feature to check third party calls initiator the best , I also like the alerts and charts and integration with SNOW for automatic ticketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slot swapping feature in azure web apps dosent work and there is a bug for this issue. after deployment the prod slot doesn't reflect in controller

Slot swap issue and addruj.js initiaor issue for some third parties

Admin GUI needs better useability. Certain features lack detailed RBAC like http request policies. GUI preload is slow.

Decreased MTTR, code level visibility into slowdowns, dashboarding for trends, established baselines

Easy to set up, powerful monitoring tool for apps and servers.

The extra plugins like ActiveMQ is harder to setup

Expensive tools like New Relic. With affordable tool like AppDynamics we can now have monitoring for our staging platform too.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Dashboard of AppDynamics the most as it shows the data of Application performance matrix which helps to understand if there is any technical issue. AppDynamics helps us to prioritize the solution to fix the issue.I also the like the User-interface of AppDynamics as it's very user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
In AppDynamics they have lots of modules which needs to be bought and it takes lots of effort and increased the cost to organization. Suppose if I want to use any module or feature which could help me in my work so when I proceed I get to know that it has internal purchase license which is required to get it. So for custom requirements more effort/manpower is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With AppDynamics we are making sure that our applications are running frequently and there is no issue and if we notice issue with the help of AppDynamics we try to fix it to maintain the uptime/availability. If any application is failing we get a notification which is very helpful as it's difficult to manually monitor all the application so the notification makes it easy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest to use AppDynamics if you are looking for an Application performance monitoring tool or any other service it provides. It is user-friendly and one of the best available in the market. It supports multiple languages for automation so there is no dependency on language to automate things.

As I am using this tool from last 1 year and observe that this tool has great potential to manage and expand the monitoring experience with the help of AI or next generation tool like moogsoft and all.

Wile working with this application one thing I have noticed is that integration with some next generation tool like moogsoft and all is very much painful.
Also as per my understanding this tool is costly to develop and manage the custom requirement.

We are using this application to monitor around 30k+ windows server. When I say Monitoring it includes all like infrastructure, log, event and many more. Also develop the some packages for the custom requirement like auto service restart and all.

This tool shows all the application stats like server status, last boot, no of errors etc and it helps to analyse the application status very easily

The UI is little slow and laggy the team can improve the UI and make it more responsive

Appdynamic is the best tool for monitoring applications in a effective way. It tell me about the working of applications and errors so that I can work on them to make it more perfect. It gives real time alerts to me according to my requirements. It has lots of features which helps me to solve every error easily. It uses APM in server's performance monitoring.Its website monitoring is very helpful in improving them.

According to me there is nothing to dislike in this tool as its GUI is an interface which is simple to use and understand . It helps me a lot in managing my projects in a organized way.

What do you like best about the product?
Wide breadth of services and function coupled with firs class customer services. We jumped into AppD right out of the box, and it has been a welcomed and relatively easy tool to add to our belt.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the data that I need gets lost on all of the functions. Curse of the blessing, I guess.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I have started developing our own systems and web applications internally, it has become essential that I have consistently capable tools for monitoring the effectiveness and engagement of my apps. AppDynamics has provided that capability and much more.
