Real time monitoring of our application
What do you like best about the product?
AppDynamic agent is very easy to install and we can easily get started and configure appdynamics as per our needs. Whenever our application or server experience any issue, appdynamics traces the issue and report it to us instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a very expensive and heavy tool and its reporting and metrics require a lot of resources. It can be a little hard to understand its metrics and visualize them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It monitors our applications and server in real time for us and look out for any issue that can effect our application. We can simply rely on appdynamics knowing it will take care of our application and will let us know if anything goes wrong.

Powerful and robust tool that helps in monitoring application
What do you like best about the product?
We have experienced many performance issues with our applications and that is when appdynamics came into action and helped us in locating the issues and solve them. Now AppDynamics is owned by Cisco and there team has been improving appdynamics and adding more new features into it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuring appdynamics in the beginning can be a tough task and required us to go through a training to better understand appdynamic feature. We have also noticed that reports aren't updated in real time and there can be a delay in updation of reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AppDynamics helps in monitoring our application for performance issues and it helps us in locating the root cause of the issue, so that we can solve the issue on our end.
Great tool for boosting application performance
What do you like best about the product?
We needed a solution that could simply point out the issues that has been effecting our application performance and than our organization chose AppDynamics. Results were really amazing, AppDynamic was able to pinpoint all the issues and provided us detailed information of each issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
AppDynamic is reporting isn't that powerful and detailed, sometimes it can be really hard to visualize its reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AppDynamic helps in doing various types testing on our application for issues and monitoring our application on production server for performance issues.
Amazing tool to monitor Server and application
What do you like best about the product?
AppDynamic is very reliable and powerful, it has a great capability to monitor and capture performance event in application. AppDynamics has been rapidly improving and bringing out new features that are very helpful to us. We were easily able to monitor and track issues in our application and server.

Learning to utilize AppDynamics feature is quite hard and requires proper training and learning.

We use AppDynamic to monitor the performance of our server, application and track down what is consuming most of the memory in our application, server and database.

What do you like best about the product?
When we started using AppDynamics, we discovered the issue that were slowing down our application. It has helped us in optimizing and enhancing the customer experience. It is a very powerful and robust tool that is capable of improving our application performance easily.

Appdynamics UI is very interactive and responsive, however it can be hard to navigate within the dashboard and search for a particular option.

AppDynamics helps us in discovering application performance issue and digging the root cause of the issue. We can simply rely on AppDynamics knowing that it will let us know if any issue arises.

What do you like best about the product?
It was very great experience with AppDynamics. Their support team is very nice and responsive and was capable of solving our issues within 24 hours. We can simply monitor our application performance and get deep insight into our application.

Some of the metrics can be quite confusing and can be difficult to process.

It is a bit hard to navigate in the beginning but like any new tool you just need to learn how to use it.

Mostly any issues with the network and having the ability to be proactive on any issues that may come up.

What do you like best about the product?
As we are the largest courier company in pakistan, so we have several and multiple type of application has running and executing 24 / 7. Many of application and portals need to be up 98 to 99 %. For this, we required a tool where we can monitor these application real time. So we implemented App Dynamics which help us to server based monitoring including applications. This tool gives us clear cut picture where the problem exists and easy to trouble shooting. It gives us detail view of server performance, connectivity and application touch points. We can easily figure out where issue exist and resolve it on time to meet our KPIs . It has excellent reporting tool as well with good dashboard options which help us to predictive analysis of issues which we can trace out .
What do you dislike about the product?
On Application end, it only supports microsoft (dot net ) application which is the biggest dislike i have as we have multiple kind of application in multiple platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As earlier i have mentioned that are largest courier company in pakistan and having multiple real time application not having those kind of tool which figure out and lays to to direct actual issue which help production support time to identify actual root cause. So monitoring and preventive action was missing before this.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As this is license base version , keep identify the servers and application which you can monitors and some to application aren't support.So be careful to for selection and do have clear agenda and objective to achive
Effective tool with great UI and lots of functionalities
What do you like best about the product?
Experience with the tool is overall great. The user interface can be changed as to what our requirements or needs. It gives us essential and relevant information which enables us to provide quick and effective fix to app performance issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Average user needs to have a training to fully understand the hows and whats of its functionalities.

Application and server performance is critical for our daily functions, AppDynamics helped us to easily identify the reasons for performance issues so as to apply fix on it.
