Magento powered by Bitnami
Bitnami by VMware | 2.0.5-1 on Ubuntu 14.04.3Linux/Unix, Ubuntu 14.04.3 - 32-bit Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Quick Easy Fast and it works!
Thank you Bitnami for this time saving and robust AWS Machine Image! Less than 30 minutes to install and have your Magento store up and running on it's own server and DB. Awesome! 15 days into development and no problems. The install comes with Madison Responsive Theme pre-installed which works and looks great. I just ran with it. I may upgrade later, but for now it's just fine. Installed preconfiged store is very helpful.
Step1: get free T2Micro AWS Magento Bitnami server/image
Step2: browse to your Magento installaion with your new AWS public ip
step3: if you want to use a your web address, get AWS Rout 53 DNS
Step4: setup new store in Magento admin
Step4: Edit Magento index.php. go here: http://www.crucialwebhost.com/kb/how-to-setup-multiple-magento-stores/#adding-another-store-in-magento
That's it, start customizing your Magento store.

Easy and Fast - Documentation needs an update for Password
The AWS password is not bitnami1. Check it out here:
https://wiki.bitnami.com/Amazon_cloud/Where_can_I_find_my_AWS_Marketplace_credentials%3f
I had the instance up and running in minutes. Now I just need to install the latest update to Magento.
wrong dns
i don't know why but after installation I was unable to test once installation script configured wrong DNS. so, unfortunatelly I could not activate neither do the configuration.
for sure problem is me that i'm not LINUX expert , so unable to configure via command line.
Rubbish
Dead on arrival (which I fixed) and then cannot log in because the admin username and password are NOT what is stated on the documentation or forums.
In short - avoid. It is a steaming pile of horse dung.
Great product
Works great, very easy to install.
No errors or problems.
I can also count on forums to customise your installation later on.
Installs quickly, easily (with some Googling)
The previous review reads "Dead on Arrival". True, but after a 5 second Google and some quick command line work, it's up and running. See: http://community.bitnami.com/t/magento-on-aws-marketing-instalation-not-working/13851/10 when installing.
Dead on arrival
Installed using the one click option.
Server starts OK on Amazon.
Enter public DNS and web page loads.
Click on "Access my application" and the browser just spins then times out.
Rebooted server on Amazon - same result.
