it is a very nice platform for the big data nad scalability,

The aggregation part is a little bit tough

The learning curve is like any other but once you get over it the benefits are many

We have been using Mongo for rapid prototyping and found it to be easy to use.
A very useful database engine - made my life easier.

Document model is a great fit for how my applications interact with data.

Nothing. I've been using this for a wile now, and pretty much covers all I want from a database product.

Used in several projects: CMS, RCM, ECommerce, web application back-end, mobile back-end.
Mongo DB is a no sql db that is faster and agile from the traiditional databases

Document data model is the natutal model for storing data

transaction management is not as great as traditional rdbms

No need to intermediate orm tool like hiberante
customer friendly query tool

the mongo query is easy to learn. the data struicture is really flexible.

there is not a good tool like Toad for relational db

We had problems with scaling out our databases, some read performances as well.

How is it fast and mainly, how can I control it via API. Beside of that comunication with OPS Manager

I would like to have litle bit more detailed error reporting - ie. when mongod fails to start.

None, business is happy with MongoDB. We have got more stable db.
