Beginner learning MongoDB
What do you like best about the product?
The free courses that help me become more familiarized with the environment of MongoDB especially learning NoSql format.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still learning with the environment, not much to dislike so far. I enjoy the lessons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits is learning a new why of processing data.

we can just change an attribute without changing the tables

Setting up Mongo for development is pretty easy which is great from a software development standpoint
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any dislikes at this time.

We store user data in order to show trends of models over time.

I personally enjoy the flexibility of the schemaless document store combined with the rich query language
What do you dislike about the product?
The 16MB document size, though I understand why, and gridfs is always an option, is slows things down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time data, which is highly available, and with election's worth of traffic spikes possible
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dive into it, and do not be afraid of the lack of SQL. Things get better once you leave that realm of thinking.

The resiliency of the system and ability to define various topologies as needed.

Nothing with the product. Difficulty of external systems leveraging the product.

We have found change streams incredibly helpful with versioning our data when we started to scale.
