Node.js powered by Bitnami
Bitnami by VMware | 6.1.0-0 on Ubuntu 14.04.3Linux/Unix, Ubuntu 14.04.3 - 32-bit Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Can't connect
I fired up this instance on AWS, and couldn't connect with my SSH private key. I tried the bitnami user, and some other random guesses, and all were "Permission denied (publickey)" I read through the Bitnami help docs, and nothing worked. At this point I've wasted more time trying to connect to this than it would have taken me to install Node.js from scratch. So, not worth it for me.

Everything works as expected
Works out of the box.
We are using the system for testing and development and it is working fine.
Node.js
I needed an aws machine to create a node.js powered app that would use Twilio to send me an SMS whenever the Bitcoin price changed for a predefined threshold. This machine was perfect because Node.js was preinstalled so I could focus on writing my script and not worry about installing stuff.
Also the npm modules installed without problems.
