What do you like best about the product?
bringing different platforms data under one place to manage easily
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular other than the overwhelming features that needs to be learned.

generating data sets from multiple reports and matching them.

Extremely friendly for new SQL User
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to connect to all my different connections and databases I need to access and the ability to automate reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Over the last year the thing I dislike most are pop up messages that seem to happen when I have to reconnect to a connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on reporting as well as financial reconciliations mostly within my team.
Helpful for an SQL Novice
What do you like best about the product?
Despite what many others would say I quite like using the GUI. The views are also easily customized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some of the menus and objects were more intuitive. Sometimes I find myself digging through menus for options and the errors are difficult to decipher.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solve both clinical and financial problems with Toad. We find quick access to our data when using the tool.

I would spend time understanding your data and learning some basic SQL skills before diving in.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, I Like the opimization pane. The data base structure navigation is very straightforward. It's possible to to use threads to run multple queries at the same time

Sometimes it hangs and consumes too much memory.

Toad is the most complete desktop software I have used for managing an oracle Database. you can administer tablespaces, ASM, schema users and objets, even create AWR Reports. It is not bug free, sometimes it has crashed, though it has been rare. Once I was running a script and it toad said the script was "running" but I checked the enterprise manager and the session was dead.

What do you like best about the product?
The user friendly interface, the schematic presentation, and the color scheme are the features that really inclined me towards the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The difficulty of saving the data is one thing i dont like and also switching of schemas is also is really difficult in toad as compared to other sql client applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to pull data using sql for various analytical projects. I am also using it to explore my options of pulling more systematic data into my space.

It is a really easy to use client application. It can connect to various file formats. I highly recommend using toad.

Toad crashes every once in a while. It is slow and makes me wonder if the license fee is worth it.

It's easy toad Short for Tools for Oracle and SQL Application Development, TOAD is a set of development tools used for application development and database Manager, we can use it as a database developer and DBA Admin.

I don't think anything to dislike from Toad. but it seems Java object names aren’t correctly fetched after compilation.
