Satisfied with Toad for Oracle but could be better
What do you like best about the product?
Toad is easey ro use.
It is very easier to setup and go so thats a huge plus.

UI can be little bit better
We can add more feature to display information - like table schema, DB structure , tabe relations etc.
Can add some DB optimisation tips and tricks- suggestions within toad .
Intellisense can be better.

Toad for oracle is very easy to handle and doing the query. its more friendly to new users.
What do you like best about the product?
Only select columns and tables and join them. The query is automatically generated in SQL query tab.
What do you dislike about the product?
Login time is short. Little but time-consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I drop tables from schema and join them only. the sql query tab give me query directly. and I used that query in my python code.
User friendly GUI
What do you like best about the product?
Usability is the best feature I liked about Toad. With user schema one can easily access all tables.

I feel it's heavy weight appl so sometimes slows down the system

I use for complex query I write for my analysis

What do you like best about the product?
Quick links or shortcuts are particularly handy,write down a table name and shortcut directly to the definition.Same goes for packages and stored procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems to be updated too often.Get notifications very frequently about new versions being available.The export function is difficult to use.Running multiple SQLs as mutithreading operation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to resolve the errors occurred in the database tables.Allows us to run more than one query against the same database at the same time.Yes business performance has increased.

As far as Best thing is concerned it has almost the best features available in the SQL toad Packages.

What do you dislike about the product?
UI should be improved. To get my work done it has all the good features, but when it comes to be interactive interface it goes down. Sometimes i feel like I am working on Very Old system. That's why UI should be improved as per my view.

From Solving multiple Production Support issues/task to creation of SQL as well as PLSQL scripts to solve various business problems and it is efficient when it come to write code and to execute as well.

Authentication protocols, heterogeneous joins, connections to hive/hdfs, ability to read files as external tables

Windows based UI. Syntax checking. Colour coding.

Nothing that I can think of. Wherever I encountered an it was due to human error.

Friendly user interface. No need to memorize a few commands.
