Toad allows us to run multiple Oracle queries and upload data directly from Excel into our database.
What do you like best about the product?
Multiple Oracle queries can be performed simultaneously, and Excel data can be uploaded directly into the database. Everyone except beginners can use it very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
No, I would like to thank the team for providing us with a smooth experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In order to upload data into the database. The Oracle data can also be edited and deleted without specifying a rowid or delete command.

I like its debugging utility, active session interface and user-friendly interaction.

A bit slow when running multiple instances

For normal querying to the database. Sometimes for export / import of the data.

Compiling stored procedures are complicated comparing to oracle sql developer tool

The structure and its simplicity in building up the query tool. Ease of transitioning between tabs.

The personlization as I am not able to changing the interface and colouring the IDE

It quickly helps in connecting to oracle DB. It helps in troubleshooting and debugging long SQLs with a very good user friendly experience.
One of the best features is that it helps to extract data in various file formats like CSV, tables and so on.

Error reporting and handling are comparatively lags, helpful if we get quality error messages with clear understanding.
Takes lots of time in loading up the entire data and sometimes hangs, which requires a restart of the application.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a must have tool for oracle developers. easy to connect to multiple databases or schemas. Shortcuts are amazing, type an object name and shortcut to view your code. Easy to debug and export is one of a kind, it supports CSV, excel, delimited text.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI can be improved, it's not free require license and updates are crappy.

Data extract and data loads are very easy.

What do you like best about the product?
My development team uses Toad for Oracle because it speeds the process of pulling data for analysis, troubleshooting and solution development for our Oracle Peoplesoft applications running on Oracle Database 19c. The built-in tools just make the process faster and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was difficult to figure out the licenses in a VDI environment where desktops are not persistent. We had to build a login scripting process to license the tool for each user who accesses the virtual desktop.

We live and die on our data. Pulling it out and making decisions is critical. When data quality problems occur, the tool helps us get the data for analysis faster.

What do you dislike about the product?
When I jumped into Toad for the Oracle tool, I faced too many difficulties with the User Interface because it confused me, but after using this tool daily, I became fond of it. So, I can say that I don't like the interface because some people might be distracted by this interface, like me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is very beneficial to handle the database as well as easy to use if we have some basic knowledge. So, I am using this tool right now for some testing as well as database development in my current organization.
