Efficient client tool for Oracle Database Development
What do you like best about the product?
Toad is the best software for managing Oracle in many ways:
It never hanged while connecting to the Oracle DB.
I am using Toad for the last three years as a Database Developer.
It provides easy access for all DB objects through the schema browser.
It provides the very handy feature of pattern searching in a Schema browser tab.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly speaking there is not a single thing that I dislike about toad for Oracle. Toad always fulfils my needs. It works smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well, I have more than 20 schemas and more than 16 Terabytes of Data with the help of a toad, I can easily search through the schema browser tab. I am designing databases and managing databases with the help of Toad.

indispensable for sql
What do you like best about the product?
Toad is one of the most functional editors. It's really nice to create practical shortcuts and use them over and over again. Toad, it's nice to have low system requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have problems with the past. For example, the Sqls that I wrote in the past do not practically come to me. Toad, the sound it makes when it opens sometimes scares me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am performing database management and SQL scripts with xxx.

If you are looking for a practical editor, Toad can be your choice.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of amazing features in Toad for Oracle:
We can search database objects from the schema browser window. Moreover, we can also search by towering the mouse on a specific word and then press F4. It will give us full details about the Object whether it is SP, View, Table or other object and also show the related schema of that object. If we talk about performance then it is very far better than SQL Developer. We can connect multiple connections containing multiple editors. It also contains a very attractive user interface.

If I talk about the cons of Toad then there is only one bad thing about toad is that sometimes it get slow. And also get stuck in the "No response" state.

I am solving ETL problems, Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Loading, Object Finging and scriptwriting problems with Toad.
Easy to write query using Toad Oracle
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to write queries using toad, especially intellisence option is very helpful during query writing. Data import, export, monitor, optimize, diagnose and debuging are the some of good features provided by toad.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it hangs during output of a query, also update query take much time to be completed

Day to day, data requirements by user are fullfilled using toad. It makes easy to complete data requirements on time to meet regulatory data reporting requirements

1. Either you are developer or BA / tester its easy for everyone. Non technical people can use this software with same ease as technical user.
2. The dataset is in very easy and understable format. It looks same like excel table sheet and you can easily view SQL data.
3. There are some good features where you can just see the tables without writing any sql commands. Thats possible by just right click and describe. Similarly you can actually see all table , procedure , functions, views name
just by expanding the database with single mouse click.
4. When you write big functions and procedures you want your SQL query to look good and easy to understand for other developers and its editor is brillant for that. you can see the number of lines as well for good formatting.
5. Import and Export feauture helps you to get data in/out in different easy formats like CSV.

Not to forget as it has so many good features it is end of the day connecting to the database (most of the time remotely) so it defientely needs good connectivity good amount of system memory.
Sometimes it use way more resources than it needs to use and leads the System crash or it will freeze your servers or system completely.

We solve good amount of production issues in tax and most of the time its data issue problems.
Toad helps us to anaylze the data easily. Even if its CODE issues(SQL procedures, functions) its easy to debugg the code. You can view the procedure and fucntions in a good format which will helps you to determine the problem easily.

the session browser is fantastic, it's a life saver when you have locks and badly tuned sql , nothing easier than session browser to catch them.
What do you dislike about the product?
the sql editor is not doing the auto complete for the object names (tables, columns , ..) which make writing the sql statment a bit diffecult specially in the huge schemas where you have thousands if objects.

The product is easy to connect to database, extract data in different forms

We would need special edition to upload data from excel and do the calculations, which is a draw back

It has easy access to different and variable instances and schemas, one of the most striking points from my point of view, which makes it one of the ones I like the most, regarding its storage functionalities, including its storage capabilities. Monitoring during the execution of a particular project, I like that its interface design transfers emotion and charity, it is implicit to want to offer its innovative information in every aspect that occurs internally in the development of the platform.

The toad is high cost, which implies that it operates only with high-performance companies that can be medium-sized companies, since obviously small companies cannot because they are not at the limit of their budget, we can highlight that not all Tools are not easy to understand and navigate in the online web application, and lastly, error handling is not as accurate as it should be for spelling and grammatical deficiencies in schemas or other designed system operations.

The hanging problem bothers a lot. It consume a lot of resources. But it's an obvious problem as this tool has a lot of feature.

It helps us to write complex queries, Packages and managing data in oracle. It is highly secure and grant permission given based on user roles.
