Bitnami package for Magento
Bitnami by VMware | 2.4.7-8-r09 on Debian 12Linux/Unix, Debian 12 - 64-bit Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Works Fine
Perfect install, no problems. Just bear in mind Magento 2.0 Connect is still not developed so you'll struggle to install any extensions the easy way like 1.9. I suggest holding back on this release for another 12 months.

Username "user" in combination with password from "Get System Log" do not work
This Bitnami Magento stack installs fine, if you use a "small" instance.
The installer runs out of memory when using a "micro" instance (which is elible for the Free Tier).
Another problem for us was that we could not login with the advertised admin user name of "user" and the password that we found in the AWS console under Actions -> Instance settings -> Get System Log.
We had to SSH into the instance and reset the admin password through another means.
Great product for the PHP ecommerce
I have installed this product and the store is very easy to use. There is lot online help available and thousands of themes are available.
Default logins
Default logins are missing from machine description. You have to go to BitNami and spend time searching for SSH, Magent, PHPMyAdmin default logins.
Put those to machine description/notes.
