    Been There Done That

Worked well. Setup clean and fast... however

This worked well for the over 5 years we used it. However, we cheated and hired someone off of Freelancer.com to set it up for us. The Google integration was tricky so we hired a freelancer to write the instructions for us so we would have them for the future. Don't expect any help from the EspoCRM people. While they do good at making the software, they act like a bunch of introverted cranky old engineers. No help, and what comments they do make are demeaning and cryptic, if not down right dismissive. Oh, and don't bother making any customization of any kind. The updates are frequently published and every, yes I mean every, update either breaks your customization, or refuses to install until you remove your customization. Just use it as is straight out of the box and you will be happy with it.

    Waste of Time

Neither the web interface, nor ssh worked

I tried the EspoCRM by Bitnami AMI twice, with different instance sizes. Following the instructions, I believed that I would be able to connect to a web ui on the public IP, on port 80 - but going there gave only an Ubuntu Apache2 default install page. Connecting at bitnami@IP, or ec2-user@IP via ssh the VM did not accept my key. I was unable to log into the VM, or access any EspoCRM services. I terminated the two unusable machines.
