Yellowfin - BI Made Easy

We have found Yellowfin to be very well suited to our offering of providing Cloud Based BI/Analytics solutions for our customers. Using the Yellowfin AWS Marketplace Instance has been a breeze, allowing us to be up and running with demo sites in a matter of minutes.

After looking at similar tools out in the market, Yellowfin was our preference for the following reasons:
* Ease of use for the general business user to view and navigate reports as well as ease of use in creating “ad-hoc” reports.
* Rapid development for functionally and visually rich dashboards and reports.
* Platform independent.
* Scalability.
* Web delivered interface with no client to install on a user’s PC. This makes support and administration a lot easier.
* True Multi-tenancy.
* Visually rich - great looking charting to facilitate highly intuitive data analysis.
* Very solid mobility offering.
* Excellent support for AWS Redshift.
* Nice additional features such as Story Boards and extensive collaboration.
* Robust centralised administration functionality. We can manage large number of clients and users very easily.

Critically, we have found Yellowfin as an organisation and vendor very easy to work with. Their attitude is very mutual in that they try to make the relationship work for both parties.
