Advanced Analytics and Visualization tool for Finance and Power user
What do you like best about the product?
SDK and integration with Python. Supports lot of Data Sources and also available to publish to Server. Increased Security model with different groups and roles.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot of Visualization options. Requires Power user to work on the tool. Difficult for beginners
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An efficient and effective Business Intelligence tool that provides insights and analytics on wide variety of data sources.

Good for wafer map
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create a wafer map to view die information within the wafer.
What do you dislike about the product?
License fees are high and can't be rotated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To view and improve wafer quality.

What do you like best about the product?
It's been more than one year i started to use Spotfire. I found it really cool and with lot of features. The way we can create easily dashboard by drag and drop.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we went to production, i found that there are performance issues with lot of data

Create dashboard for managers
Spotfire 10.x is awesome compared to previous versions
What do you like best about the product?
New UI is great. Ease of navigating around is much nicer/easier. Now it's actually comparable to likes of Tableau Looker and other tools out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
That is doesnt have OOTB JSON connector.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use SPotfire as our enterprice level tool to expose data to our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love about spotfire is how easy it is to link to data from outside sources. Once you have the data imported it opens the door to a good variety of visualization options and then with the scripting to can customize them to meet your specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve with the scripting. When the network connection is unstable you loose the connection to your data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to display our data in dashboards. Before we used Excel for almost everything but once we went to spotfire all of our presentations looked cleaner and we were able to utilize more advanced visualizations like box plots.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize the training.It is a very powerful tool but it will take time to really be good at it.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Spotfire is the many options it gives you for displaying your data. When I used it for a project, I used the same data listed and then also displayed it in the other ways, other graphs, to show my viewers my visualizations for my project. I also like how easy this software is to learn. I learned how to use this in less than a week!
What do you dislike about the product?
What i dislike about Spotfire is how it’s a bit expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are no specific problems I am having with Spotfire, but some benefits I did realize are how it constantly has newer updates.

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful analytics environment, with customizable connections, and built in modeling options for power users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a steeper learning curve than PowerBI, Tableau, others. Can be more expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analysis of variance of gas pipeline flows, identifying and predicting (where possible) system malfunction. Clients improve operational efficiency, reduce bottomline loss and environmental impact, .
Great tool for large amounts of data
What do you like best about the product?
Although it takes some time to load, filtering and searching is a breeze. I'm never concerned about the program crashing, and the user friendly interface and basic functionality make it easy to learn the basics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to customize and requires a lot of effort and experience in order to fully master everything the tool has to offer. Not necessarily a bad thing, but coupled with the price it is something to consider (but it's meant for bigger organizations, so not that big of a concern).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for data visualization in the field of drug safety. From the very beginning, it has been such a valuable tool used to filter and build visualizations that impact safety measures/decisions.
A Fresh way to present data
What do you like best about the product?
The online storage/cloud storage is awesome. We have used that frequently as many of us work remotely sometimes and it's great. The graphics are professional and well designed. The whole thing is very user friendly so no matter how good you are with technology, Tibco Spotfire makes the learning process easy and you'll see great results in no time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing raw data is difficult sometimes- it takes a little bit of fiddling around to get the format you need or want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tibco spotfire has been a great help in analyzing our data. We collect a lot of numbers and it has really streamlined our analysis and helped us create much better reports for our clients. It's also helped us learn more about our own data so we can improve how we do our business.
Spitfire is good for trend analysis but doesn’t really help with identifying other things

Spotfire does a great job at showing trends in our metrics within our department.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time it take to pull and analyze within spotfire can be challenging. Also the color scheme makes it hard to look at compared to others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us identity where our department is trending. Good for visualizing where we see revenue gains and growth
