Can't use with Zend Studio

I followed the Zend Studio tutorial for Zen Studio 12 - Developing Applications with Zend Studio Using Zend Server on AWS.

On Step 1: Adding the Zend Server AMI to Zend Studio, the first two steps were fine. But when I got to The Zend Server details dialog, and entered the details there I got the error message - Server is not bootstrapped.

This stopped me dead. And the Zend help was no help at all.

I think I have been screwed - by Zend.
