My Professional experience with Oracle Linux
What do you like best about the product?
It is a cost effective and hight performing choice for modern infrastructure or consoling database instances. It is highly reliable secure and cloud ready Operating system.
What do you dislike about the product?
With respect to Operating system I don't have any cons as of now. Sometimes it's hard to get support from Oracle support team and apart from that there are no issues with respect to Oracle Linux.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is offering enhanced security and high performance.
It is giving advantage of having of zero downtime patching of servers which inturn maintaining 100% UPTIME of our applications.

My experines with Oracle linux has been well.
What do you like best about the product?
Linux's open-source capability has helped our organization deploy the Rise Vision Application. Having to pay for licenses for Windows would have increased our expenses and decrease our Yearly Budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only notable downside of Linux is the learning curve associated with moving to it from a background in Windows. This has led me to have to take time out on my own to learn and understand the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Linux has solved the problem of providing a low-cost operating system to run and manage the Rise Vision Application. This has allowed our department to stay within budget and maximize our funding for other projects.
Secure and reliable flavour of vanilla linux os
What do you like best about the product?
Integration between Oracle Linux with other OCI products is excellent. Oracle Linux does good resource(CPU,RAM) management.

What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing costs associated with each instance add up to your cloud bill.
Till the number of users who are using Oracle Linux is less. So you wont find much of help online if you are troubleshooting the issue

Best linux distro
What do you like best about the product?
It is fast, easy and intuitive to use. If you are using another linux distro on cloud, you should definitely try this one. I was able to get comfortable within a week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I use it on the cloud (console), it can be frustrating (like every console). The documentation is awesome and helps with those little issues you face while you are still learning how to use the console.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was trying to use the Oracle Free Cloud tier; with Oracle Linux, I could install the MySQL database that I needed without any issues, connect from my windows computer and be ready to work.
It's fast and lightweight on your hardware
What do you like best about the product?
It's responsive and makes older equipment breathe again.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all the regular windows software will be available for you on this platform but don't worry because there are thousands of free open source versions available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making otherwise old or obsolete machines work well again thus saving money

Not only does it arrive with pre-configured and pre-optimized packages for a direct installation of the database, but it is a product that is already within the Oracle architecture, which makes integration with other platforms of the same type more straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps customer support should focus more on end-to-end service than on technical knowledge about the product. From the user's point of view, I would say that increasing storage would make space management much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its easy functionality in the interface and the ability to come with pre-configurations allows more time savings, which in this case is completely precious in the aspect of reducing downtime.

Oracle linux is a great OS
What do you like best about the product?
Oracle Linux is the best OS so far i have used in my entire carrier. It is almost same as redhat linux and you also get a same feel like you are using redhat linux. The best part of oracle linux is their support team which is far better than redhat support. And moreover its cheaper and we are also planning to use oracle cloud computing for future business plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing which i dislike about this product. Even the support team is way ahead than RHEL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier we were using Redhat Lunux which is costlier than oracle linux. Even the support team is way better than redhat linux. Even as a future we are planning to use oracle cloud for our business. Their sales people come to our office and execute the architecture for our organisation
Not That Great , Has limitations
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's free to use and distribute.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to use and I have run into a lot of technical difficulties in the beginning when initially installed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great secure system and helps protect data better than other operating systems. I have worked on it for a little bit for a project outside of my job, and it's something I would like to use again in future.

incompatibility and complexity has an approach to keywords similar to the cobol structure, its use is limited to a specific program domain it has a domain-specific declarative language that is limited.

is solving problems with the database
help with the relational model users view data in tables with rows/columns format. complete security in the production and test environment and backup management.
