It is very important that you follow our First Launch and Setup Guide (, particularly with regard to the Fail2Ban Intrusion Detection service. It is important to turn this service OFF while you are initially experimenting with and setting up AWS FreePBX to prevent the conditions you report here. Otherwise, you can mistakenly "block" yourself from accessing the server instance while configuring it. Once you have successfully setup your instance, you should always turn Intrusion Detection back ON so you are properly protected from potential attacks from the internet.
