Bug in AMI
This AMI has a root partition formatted to XFS. Vertica does not support XFS. I'm confused about this discrepancy. The previous version of this AMI -- Vertica 7.1.1 -- had the root partition set to EXT4. This AMI warns with error id S0160 on install.
I know this isn't the best forum to resolve this, but I'm not sure where else to voice this concern at this time.
Thank you for your comment, our answer seems to have disappeared! You are correct that the root is XFS and this is where the OS is located. Look for the EXT4 partition where Vertica is located.
Does anyone know if this concern has been addressed?
