    Hospital & Health Care

Made our lives easier

What do you like best about the product?
We wrote lots of Groovy scripts and shared libraries for our Jenkins jobs / pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to setup and configure locally
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly CI, we are getting there with CD I guess.

    Education Management

Provides some simplification of overall jenkins infrastructure, hasn't rolled out widely internally

  • August 14, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's a managed solution that reassuring to be supported with a support contract and it minimizes the number of jenkins machines we have to manage. Being able to centrally managed users, plugins, and container version from the operation center is useful
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the support issues that we open can take longer to resolve than we'd hope. Once we work with the support team we have adequate support but it seems to take longer to analyze support bundles and issues initially. Managing users and groups is much more difficult than we thought it would be and our workloads and pipelines have proven more difficult to dockerize and migrate them all to cloudbees jenkins from opensource jenkins so we have not seen a widespread adoption fo cloudbees jenkins compared to our separate opensource jenkins farms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralization of jenkins infrastructure and rolling out tested versions of plugins.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate the types of jobs that you have in your environments, if they are already dockerized vs. job dsl written or freestyle jobs, then I think the migration into cloudbees jenkins would be much smoother.

Intel's experience with Cloudbees Jenkins core

  • August 14, 2019
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Cloudees Jenkins onprem for about 1.5 years. The Cloudbees team has been fantastic to work with both from a management/account standpoint and from the support standpoint. They have been very responsive and a great partners.
What do you dislike about the product?
The plugin ecosystem is good, but I'm concerned about how best to manage this at scale in a large organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We already have numerous Jenkins solutions maintained around the company. Teams are looking for a central management solution and support so they can focus on delivery and the IT org can focus on management.

Durability of master nodes is huge. Also, fine grained permissions management is made very easy.

The UI. It’s too bulky and not intuitive enough.

User friendly software!

  • May 08, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly and provides better efficiency in operational process. Support given by Cloudbees Team is superb! Frequent support follow-up (on monthly basis) by Cloudbees Team. Issues attended by Cloudbees Team in short period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the feature (auto refresh) is not working as per expected behaviour and it was found by customer during testing phase. This could be improved by sharing the issues by Cloudbees in advance instead of receiving the same finding by another party.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Batch jobs that runin servers previously were not able to be monitored at UI level. Currently, it provides clear status view via Jenkins UI.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very good software! Highly recommended!
