Informative and very insightful
What do you like best about the product?
n-bitindex is used to access the data. Nbit and tiered indexing is used to allow for increase compression and fast incremental batch loads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now.Its just very functional
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for an ETL provider in SAPIQ, when indexed correctly, a value that would have to be stored once in each row of data in a traditional database is toad only ones

What do you like best about the product?
SAP IQ is a great way to analyze information or analyze your business' processes to ensure you're making data driven decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no downsides, SAP IQ is user friendly

This is helping me to analyze our processes and client database for ease of processes.

What do you like best about the product?
its ability to limit the expansion of the costly SAP HANA database, which has limited storage capacity. Used by data engineers for warehousing, easy to use and implementation is also easy than oracle and mongoDB relational database management system. It is integrated with many organization including mine.
What do you dislike about the product?
When we tried to connect it through other softwares then it is bit tricky because it is not easily available as SQL drivers and SQL workbench, In starting few days you also need some kind of trainings then it is easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Inserting thousands of rows of data takes time equal to blink of an eye.
2) Aggregating billions of rows of data is insanely fast, efficient and easy to use in comparison of ther RDBMS like oracle etc.
3) this also facilitates you to do extreme data compression with your data.
4) It is commony known as sybase , syntax of sybase and SQL is mostly similar with some differences.
5) Sometimes faced issue with support, but easy to resolve through SAP IQ support.

Great Product but hard to use
What do you like best about the product?
SAP IQ can effectively manage the storage capacity of SAP HANA, which can be a costly database solution with limited storage capabilities. This is achieved through a data management approach that involves archiving data from SAP HANA to SAP NLS. This archiving process allows for continued access to the data through a link whenever needed without taking up valuable storage space in SAP HANA.

Set the SAP IQ is a bit difficult

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It involves managing data warehousing and data marts, overseeing the management of database software systems, implementing petabyte-scale solutions, and providing business intelligence. Essentially, it's an all-in-one solution for a wide range of data-related challenges.
Most efficient columnar relational database
What do you like best about the product?
Used to efficiently manage use amount of data and since the storage is columnar based the data retrieval is faster as compared to most of the database. The performance and maintenance is lower than compared to many Relational databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The use cases of the this is limited to non integrated systems. Also there is not free version or trial usage for it. Its uses cases are majorly restricted to enterprise and financial service sector

It is majorly being used for Big Data, lots if analytical use cases. Helps to create huge amount of data types and helps in powerful data loading in much efficient way.

Getting accurate financial data that we as a company are able to make sound financial decision. Keep up to date on project spend and able to control it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see easier navigation, provide more shortcuts and a cleaner layout to better identify icons. I also have some issues with my preferences saving from time to time.

Able to pull accurate financial information without issues of data accuracy.

It’s very useful for creating relational database software, especially for an enterprise like environment

Sometimes the user interface looks a bit outdated, although that’s entirely just design and not functionality

Software is able to handle a large set of budget and data points quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very unforgiving software and has the graphical interface of Microsoft 95. Needs to be seriously upgraded.

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature about SAP IQ is no doubt its connectivity and reliability in storing thousands of pieces of secure, private data for my firm. It is crucial that my company hold encrypted data and SAP IQ is the best software we have found for doing so. When using SAP, its many features allow multiple employees to be working on the same project at the same time, and the collaborative features of the product make it especially unique from others in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is a bit challenging to navigate at times, and can be somewhat challenging to learn at first. However, once fully trained, the vast resources and capabilities of SAP IQ are worth the time it takes to learn them. Certain features differ from those on other database software, so learning SAP's unique "lingo" and path system is crucial to understanding the product fully. I was first introduced to the software a couple years ago and now enjoy using the IQ portion and the data sensitivity portion of the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My business solves information literacy, privacy, and compatibility problems with SAP IQ. We also have found new ways to store data and keep it extremely secure. IQ is unique to SAP because it utilizes smart technology to further encrypt and store important data. The features in this program are necessary in today's technologically advanced society where hacking and data privacy are two huge issues companies face.

Be patient when learning its many unique features!
