Apps made easy
What do you like best about the product?
In creating my first app, I chose Backenless, and it was such a great decision to launch myself into the world of successful app owners. The process of storyboarding the UX was second to none. I felt like they were looking out for my investment and the UX and the same time. This company deserves a chance to bid on your project. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of anything. They were on time and on budget with a great product. If there is one thing to say is, "it's me," I want to done faster than is appropriate, but they managed my timeline expectations exceptionally well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a social networking app, and they handled everything. I came up with ideas, and they suggested tweaks for efficiency and improved UX. This project was from idea stage to production.

Great low code platform for any business application or just a POC
What do you like best about the product?
Gamification of learning process, video tutorials, forum with developers that help with difficult concepts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frontend is a bit cumbersome, but solves the purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm working on a POC and can't afford professional developers at the moment.
Well put together product that lets you build apps fast and even if you dont know how to code

Very intuitive interface, nice drag and drop builder even for complex logic in the code.
They also have a great product tour to get you familiar with key functions of the program

What do you dislike about the product?
Its not completely clear on what the best practice is for using blocks or containers etc in the frontend builder.
Something to give more direction on that would help reduce time working things out yourself.
The other item, is if you have a block in the logic builder that is not connected to something and navigate away, there is no prompt, you just lose that whole block which could have had a bunch of config in it.

It is allowing us to build apps to test out our ideas without investing a bunch of development time and cost.

Most comprehensive codeless platform available with brilliant tutorials to navigate the platform.

The Intuitive interfaces, and inclusion of a relational database system.

Challenging to understand the logic initially

It allows faster development of the GUI, which can have massive impacts on projects. Love the API

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexible of Backendless. It can handle all things related to backend development, including database, business logic, and notifications. It's nice to learn one tool that meets so many needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish authentication was easier. Also, documentation for those using no-code platforms could be more built out similar to how the documentation is built out for the major coding languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traditional development / coding is more complicated than it needs to be. Backendless is helping address this pain point by building a platform that most people will be able to use if they put in the effort. This unlocks innovation and creativity across the board. A net positive for everyone building and everyone using what we build.
Backendless got me back into coding!
What do you like best about the product?
The comprehensiveness of their videos, support and foresight in their solution. They clearly though through what the no-code world needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I can literally not fault them on anything. It's an incredible system that offers features exactly when you are looking for it and where.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving the complex world of coding and learning multiple languages. I can now design and develop systems in a blink of an eye. From demo to commercial.

The feature that stands above the rest is their customer service. They have set the bar. Responses to issues are immediate and often come from the founder himself. Extraordinary! Then you add the robust feature set and ease of use, and you have a first-class platform.

I have been using Backendless for 1 1/2 months now and in that time I have worked through the product tour to unlock a springboard account. I have developed a proof-of-concept app using the iOS SDK and SwiftUI. I have also deployed a server-side event handler written in Java. All of this was effortless thanks to the ease of use, tools, examples, and customer service.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am developing a technology platform for my Son's business that will consist of a suite of mobile apps tied into a WordPress website. When it became apparent that his vision required a database backend I looked at the options available and determined that Backendless was the best fit. I am pleased with all of the functionality beyond an RDBMS that came with my decision.

Lack of tools to inspect/debug a software program as a whole.
Need more documentation and/or an index that points to existing written and video documentation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I selected Backendless as a new and current development system out of 30+ years in software engineering (as part of my electrical engineering practice. Through working with the existing system, staying abreast of enhancements, and working with Support, I'm moving my software practice to the Backendless platform.
No more boundaries for platforms development
What do you like best about the product?
You can integrate WEB and Mobile in a very simple way all the tools are there. The codeless option to program it's great if you know to code or not it's the same and that's very helpful. Mark Piller the CEO of the company it's on call 24/7 he helps me with questions during the weekend!
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a malfunction during the coding process and a loss of a day because the automatic save or the backup was not working properly the support team help me with the problem and everything was back to normal. For 2 years just this only problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm in the Access COntrol business and the web and mobile platform it's a must because you have a mobile visitor and some cases web or also mobile concierge with Backendless no problem at all.
Great from protoyping to production

Backendless is a robust system that makes working with mobile applications a great experience.

Nothing comes to mind. A very pleasant product to work with.

I write mobile applications that require an API / remote Data store. For the application work I do, I would normally need a backend dev to assist, but Backendless is intuitive enough that I was able to create teh schema and interactions I needed
