Good and Useful
What do you like best about the product?
I frequently using Jasper reports, and as per my opinion, we can customize our reports and generate reports easily.

It's old design, required more friendly designs. We can't integrate all required tables to customize our reports, and it's required code changes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to generate report so we can build and customize our own reports and dashboards without any DB/ IT support.

It is giving very good options to customize Jasper reports. It helps our customers to generate reports as they want.
A Robust Reporting Engine for Scheduled, Multi-Format Document Delivery
What do you like best about the product?
Multi-Format Fidelity: A single report design produces perfect outputs in PDF, XLSX, CSV, etc.
Enterprise Security: We can give the permission as specific user requirements.
User preference: Users can fully personalize their reporting experience selecting visible columns, reordering data, and saving these customized views. They then choose between immediate execution or scheduled delivery.
Frequency of use: Usage is consistently high but varies in nature. The scheduler handles dozens of automated reports daily (PDF statements, CSV feeds), while business users generate ad-hoc customized reports multiple times per week. The system supports both continuous automated workflows and periodic analytical needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. The report fails to open, especially when there is a larger number of records. Additionally, the scheduled emails occasionally fail to be sent.
2. Even when attempting to export the report in PDF or XLSX formats, the process takes several hours to complete.
3. At times, we are unable to notice when a folder is dragged to a different location. In such cases, no confirmation popup is displayed.

Jaspersoft addresses our enterprise reporting needs by enabling automated scheduled report distribution and multi format exports (including XLSX and PDF), streamlining our data delivery processes and enhancing operational efficiency

We use it to offer self-serve reporting options to our clients, and also internal teams.
Jaspersoft Review: Flexible Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
The ad hoc report designer lets non-technical users create simple reports on their own, without needing to use Jaspersoft Studio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports can run slowly or even time out when working with large or complex data sets, especially if they include a lot of joins or sub-reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jaspersoft helps us solve key problems: embedding dashboards into our application and automating scheduled report delivery.
It was interesting to implement this integration with Temenos Infinity.

The reports configured have been accurate.

We could not use the latest version of Jaspersoft in production. However, we used a previous version 8, to be exact.

Generate internal reports. Provide analytics from different forms and processes.

What do you like best about the product?
It is an amazing tool to create reports, dashboard with minimal efforts.

AI implementation could have improved, because customisation can be time consuming

I was using Excel to create reports after switching to Jaspersoft it is saved my 50% time
Testing Jaspersoft for dashboards and real-time data analysis.
What do you like best about the product?
I used it to create dashboards on dummy sales data, just to compare it with other tools that I had the chance to use. I liked that it had a connection to multiple output formats, which are universal, which allows for better integration. Exploring it was nice, because of the open-source. I would say that two of the best things about it are the wide data-source support (SQL and No-SQL databases, files etc) and the fact that it can be easily embedded into different applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main problems was the lack of documentation, making the learning curve a bit steeper, but other than that I would say that with time it is easy to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows accessibility of data throughout different applications, customization (which is very important), and it is quite universal and easy to integrate. It allows for real-time data-driven decision making.

The System is functionally rich with many choices to meet your needs

Error messaging is not "user friendly" and heavily reliant on Jaspersoft Support to decipher

Its behaviour seems to be inconsistent on occasion, e.g. the internal application of styles.
Also, the cache sometimes causes issues on the Server by not reflecting the latest changes.
