It was interesting to implement this integration with Temenos Infinity.
What do you like best about the product?
The reports configured have been accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
We could not use the latest version of Jaspersoft in production. However, we used a previous version 8, to be exact.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generate internal reports. Provide analytics from different forms and processes.

It is an amazing tool to create reports, dashboard with minimal efforts.

AI implementation could have improved, because customisation can be time consuming

I was using Excel to create reports after switching to Jaspersoft it is saved my 50% time

What do you like best about the product?
I used it to create dashboards on dummy sales data, just to compare it with other tools that I had the chance to use. I liked that it had a connection to multiple output formats, which are universal, which allows for better integration. Exploring it was nice, because of the open-source. I would say that two of the best things about it are the wide data-source support (SQL and No-SQL databases, files etc) and the fact that it can be easily embedded into different applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main problems was the lack of documentation, making the learning curve a bit steeper, but other than that I would say that with time it is easy to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows accessibility of data throughout different applications, customization (which is very important), and it is quite universal and easy to integrate. It allows for real-time data-driven decision making.

Error messaging is not "user friendly" and heavily reliant on Jaspersoft Support to decipher

Its behaviour seems to be inconsistent on occasion, e.g. the internal application of styles.
Also, the cache sometimes causes issues on the Server by not reflecting the latest changes.

Fantastic for Pixel Perfect Design; Doesn't Meet Expectations for Embedded Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Jaspersoft's pixel perfect Desktop Studio platform helps our company to create attractive reports accurately (PDFs, Excel documents, etc.). It meets our expectations.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have struggled getting Jaspersoft embedded analytics to fit into our proprietary software the way we would like it to. We have faced some limitations with both Studio's analytics tools as well as the Ad Hoc tools. Neither can quite meet our expectations because Studio is iFrame-based (we need dynamic resizing of widgets) and Ad Hoc is too simple for the complex widgets we hope to produce.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Jaspersoft expert has helped us to explore ways to make the embedded analytics work inside our software. Though our Jaspersoft representative has been absolutely fantastic to work with, the product itself can quite reach to our expectations. We have explored all avenues and seem to keep running into limitations with the embedded analytics piece.

Few things that can be improved in the software is:-
The mannual designin is little bit difficult.
It is hard to find support forums.
The generation of reports and dashboard tools can be improved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TIBCO Jaspersoft helped me a lot in making report by its useful tools and features. It increased my productivity and performance by various integration and tools .
Pretty good PDF generator
What do you like best about the product?
Eventually, it is able to generate most report formats that is required. I mostly used it to generate PDFs, and it served the purpose well, as most B2B communication s are expecting that format.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes too many configurations, and aligning text can be unnecassarily difficult. When I worked with it, documentation was a bit hard to access, and sometimes out of date - this has probably improved since.

Generate monthly automated reports in various performance metrics, and formatting them nicely enough to be presentable to the end user. Mostly PDFs, but not exclusively so.

Cost-effective reporting solution
What do you like best about the product?
JasperSoft is an open-sourced Business Intelligent tool developed by TIBCO. This tool is capable of reporting and visualizing data as per requirement. Moreover, these generated reports can export in PDF, CSV, and Excel format. Jasperstudio is also available to develop and test the report format. Also, we can create HTML 5 charts using this tool, and the fields created in the generated report are using XML tags.
What do you dislike about the product?
TIBCO Jaspersoft has a steep learning curve. Also, there are other BI solutions available in the market which are not cost-effective but more offers and excellent support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
TIBCO Jaspersoft allows us the real-time reporting facility and which helped us to fulfill our customer's requirements. Secondly, this tool provides the out of box integration support with different databases. Therefore, integration with multiple data sources was the easy and time-effective solution for our development team.
