CloudGuard IaaS - Intuitive entry point to securing cloud-based infrastructure

  • March 10, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and reactive - as it performs just like on-prem; there is very little CloudGuard learning curve
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep azure-based learning curve - but this falls outside of the scope of the CG IaaS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CG IaaS offers the flexibility of utilising VMSS for environments where scaling is a requirement, bringing an end to conversations about "how much growth do you anticipate" etc....

Very easy to deploy and it's very secure

Moving our infrastructure to the cloud is one of the main goals of my company and of course security has to go along with it. Check Point vSEC was honestly the best thing we decided to choose for our security since we can manage every gateway from one console and the visibility that we get from threats that are trying to penetrate our cloud infrastructure is great!

Secure our hybrid cloud in AWS

It was very easy to deploy vSEC to secure our extended datacenter in AWS. We leveraged the vSEC CloudFormation template and it took us an hour to have the first vSEC cluster GWs up and running in AWS. We are using vSEC with IPS and AV blades and the performance is real great. The real good part is that we can manage it all using our existent on premise Check Point management
