Exactly what they advertise. It installs in just five minutes and is incredibly easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
The installation process was incredibly fast. It took me no more than five minutes from start to finish. The interface is clean, intuitive, and very easy to navigate. Despite its simplicity, the software offers a robust set of features that work reliably and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Up to this point, I have not encountered anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small organization, we need reliable solutions that are cost-effective but still offer a rich set of features. NAKIVO Backup & Replication solves this problem perfectly. It provides data protection and backup without breaking the budget. What’s even better, it covers all our compliance-related needs, allowing us to meet regulatory requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
The user-friendly graphical interface with many assistants to easily create backups. The support is very helpful and easily reachable.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the free version limits you somewhat, but after all, the company has to implement something too.

We use it to secure some VMs that should be reactivated as quickly as possible in case of an emergency, that's why we use

What do you like best about the product?
Nakivo backup makes backups simple, fast, and reliable. I love its clean interface, quick deployment, and features like ransomware protection with immutability, deduplication, and automated backup verification, all in one solution for virtual, physical, and cloud workloads.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major to dislike, if anything, I’d appreciate more advanced reporting and monitoring features, but updates keep adding great improvements

What do you like best about the product?
NAKIVO is easy to install and supports different operating systems, with particular emphasis on Linux support, which saves you an additional Windows Server license. The web interface is modern and largely intuitive. Where you don't get further directly, extensive documentation is available, and technical support is always reachable and finds timely appointments for direct assistance. All desired components, in our case ESXi VMs and a QNAP NAS, could be easily integrated. The system has been running stably for weeks without errors and crashes. Tests with the recovery were also successful. The trial phase could be booked independently and was extended without problems to clarify final questions. The price for the solution is absolutely fair and very attractive, especially for small businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ordering process was comparatively cumbersome in contrast to the setup. After the test setup, it was actually quite clear what type of subscription was needed for which volume. Nevertheless, emails and a coordination meeting were necessary. However, once everything was set in motion, it went very quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Servers and NAS require regular data backups to avoid losing data in case of a defect. Additionally, old versions of files must be retained in case of accidental deletions. Both can be easily set up through the appropriately configurable jobs via the interface. We feel secure against data loss with the system.

Simple and UI Friendly Server Backup
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Nakivo Backup & Replication installed on a Linux server, with backup storage pointed to a TrueNAS Scale system, and it’s been solid.
One of the things I really like is how lightweight and efficient it is, it doesn’t chew up resources, and it’s quick to set up.
I use it to back up two Windows servers, and it’s been rock solid. Backups run consistently without any issues or slowdown.
The web interface is straightforward and easy to work with, and I’ve got plenty of control over how and when backups run.
Pointing the storage to my TrueNAS Scale setup has been a good move too, it connects without any hassle and gives me peace of mind knowing everything’s stored safely and easy to get to if needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I had so far was when installing the agent on one of the servers. The initial install failed, however I managed to get around this by investigating the install script as it was running and fixing the dependency it installs before hand (was a Microsoft redistributable package ).

Backing up my Windows servers is a lot simpler and easier with NAKIVO Backup & Replication.
It takes care of scheduling and retention on its own, so I’m not constantly having to keep an eye on it.
The interface is easy to use, and it’s been solid in terms of performance without any hiccups, managing storage usage and setting compression means I don't have to stress about having to increase the backup volume/store.
I’ve got it set up to back up to a NAS storage location mounted via NFS, which has worked really well.
It’s taken a lot of the manual work out of backups and given me confidence that everything’s protected and recoverable if something goes wrong.
