Nessus scanner
What do you like best about the product?
Tenable nessus scanner is user friendly and the UI of this tool is soo easy to use that anyon can understand and use it effectively. It is best vulnerability scanning and network scanning tool. The scanning and reporting task can be automated which is the best feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it uses more time for the scanning and reporting otherwise this is the best for vulnerability scanning and network scanning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is checking the vulnerability and systems at risk regularly so that data or any important system do not get compromised and provide reports also.

What do you like best about the product?
The Advance scan functionality is best and does a deep scan and it is more in depth than a normal scan.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of its features will be locked for normal public and it doesnot even comes with a professional suite .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does an automatic scan of infrastructure and scan like a pro and saves lots of time wasted in manual scanning.

Nessus Scanner was an awesome tool which helped develop security posture if my organisation.

Nothing as of now to dislike. It comes with all the modules loaded

We were trying to improve the security posture if our organisation and nessus helped us in improving the same by showing us the vulnerable devices and apps.

I would like to appreciate the knowledge base of Tenable nessus which gives us a clear overview of the vulnerabilities

Nothing much, it is the most perfect tool that I have ever used

This product is great because it is fast, easy to use and very cost effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to offer the cloud version at a similar price but you can achieve the same using your own cloud VM.

It is easy to use, versatile, flexible, and it is very secure

The user interface can be complex and not very intuitive. Limited Reporting capabilities.

Great scanning capability and insight
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Intuitive user interface. Functional output with actionable results.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard drive space has been a consistent issue with the number of scans we run. Centralizing the results in the cloud is not always a solution for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tenable makes scanning for vulnerabilities within our on-prem environment quick and easy. It has become a primary tool leveraged by our SOC analysts.
Since using Nessus various vulnerabilities have turned up that other products didn't catch at all

Can't beat the results of having up to date network

they keep me on my toes when i'd rather relax

Catches what other apps have missed, i get an email daily from the selected scheduled group scan, daily to keep my quiet moments filled up
