What do you like best about the product?
All of its features can be made use of with just ingesting the data with easy integration
What do you dislike about the product?
Need improvement in proactive monitoring (Synthetics) and Bot detection algorithms
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alerting, Production Issue Triage support, Traffic and Order Trends, Device and OS wise traffic split

What do you like best about the product?
Features I like most which other tool(s) did not have and the interface was horrible. New Relic provides comprehensive application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring and synthetic monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
New Relic was implemented 2 months ago and it is hard to say if there are any dislikes at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to New Relic, the tools used was not providing meaningful information and 99.9999% of the time the alerts were too late and after the fact. Also, in New Relic, the dashboards are amazing and helps quickly jump into problematic area.

Distributed tracing feature has helped us solve a lot of issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product may be a little costly for small companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customer support team uses new relic to solve tickets quickly. It is also used by our product team to check the SLAs.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup, especially from Heroku. Fairly well laid out UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to get everything configured when advanced use cases need to be surfaced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic provides insight into slow and problematic areas of the product.

What do you like best about the product?
Newrelic is one of the great modern monitoring tools available in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve to understand the NRQL compared to other vendors via tags.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic helps to solve our system load and adjust our autoscaling capabilities in kubernetes clusters.

Solves engineering needs well, product - not so much

What do you like best about the product?
It is super useful for engineering needs as it provides end-to-end visibility of the system overall. You can monitor performance, use it to troubleshoot and diagnose any problems, and it does well with alerts and notifications when something is starting to fail.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a PM, I want to be able to have an integrated platform that not only encompasses visibility from back-end/system perspective, but combines it well with RUM. However current RUM functionality and options are limited and do not serve our needs.
Also, the UI/UX is not super intuitive or easy to use, and would require a steep learning curve esp. when onboarding other team members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
New Relic is constantly expanding their toolbox and adding new functionality and useful features (ever-evolving). It is staying up-to-date on latest trends and supporting arising needs (like AI).

It is very application team friendly where they can gather the stats of database very easily

It is not DBA monitoring system where we need to enhance few things to configure.

Amazing Product, Complicated to Manage, and Expensive

What do you like best about the product?
Amazing view of all your infrastrucutre through distributed tracing and custom ids.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost: The tool itself is very expensive per user, it will happily ingest all the data but restrict access to that amazing data if you don't pay up.
Setup: Each connection is unique, the guided installs work mostly, but do not explain how to hook this into 12 factor apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How do we make sure prod keeps working.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like services provided by New Relic like APM,Alerts and AI,Dahboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
documentation is not up to date and it is costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With thw help of New Relic I am able to monitor my app and infrastructure with the help of it I am able to know where my going wrong .

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to work with and easy to implement with AWS infrastructure
What do you dislike about the product?
The event notification mechanism is sometimes finicky and we had challenges setting things up properly, but not everything appears to be working as expected, at last.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to centralize all of our logs from all of our infrastructure, so we can monitor everything from a single location.
